After waking up from a lucid dream.

Hello everyone. I've been lurking on this site for a while and just decided to register. I look forward to meeting all of you and sharing stories!

I've had (I hope) three dreams where I have become lucid. I've never done anything too exciting in these lucid dreams, and in fact, the one time I attempted to it didn't work out so well. However, whenever I wake up from a lucid dream, I'm never sure if I actually was lucid during the dream, or if I just dreamed that I was lucid. Is this a common feeling to have?

Hi Flashlight, welcome to the Dreamviews forum. :content: It's easy to tell if you had a lucid dream - if you suddenly feel aware (on any level) that you're dreaming, you are lucid. It's not an uncommon thing to feel like you didn't really become lucid, but like I said, you'll know right away if you were because of the feelings you experienced in the dream.

This actually happened to me last night. I woke up and thought "Did I really become lucid?" I think the answer to that question will always be yes, it might just mean it was not a highly lucid dream.

Some confusion may arise upon wakening, but if you think you were lucid, you probably were.

Nowadays I can easily distinguish a non-lucid dream from a lucid one.
