Problem with napping
From what i have read I have heard taking a nap 1-2 hours after you get up gives you a better likelihood of having lucid dreams. My problem is though , that i find it impossible to sleep after i get up in the morning.. I tried today but i just ended up lying there for 1 hour.. any tips on getting back to sleep?

I also had a problem with napping. I thought I could never do it but once I became interested in lucid dreams and found it beneficial, I changed my mindset. I laid down in my room, windows covered, lights off, no TV, etc. Also, no one was home so there was no sound in the house or distractions. For 15 minutes or so I listened to relaxing music or guided meditation to relax myself. Then I pulled a hat down over my eyes so there was no light, and napped. Perhaps a similar routine could work for you.

I also had a problem with napping until I covered the blinds so there was no light ( I mean like pitch black) then it seemed to be so easy to fall asleep.

Good idea , in the mornings the light shines through my curtains because they arent very thick , maybe pulling at hat over my eyes wud help :)

I nap every single day for around 2 hours...best thing to do that i found is to deprive yourself of your usual amount of sleep...so for example if you normally sleep for 8 hours, cut it down to 6. This way when you finally have time to nap your body will be more tired than usual. Once you get used to this pattern your body will most likely expect to fall asleep at the usual napping time, meaning that you arent as tired when you first wake up but when you get close to your nap time you start to feel tired once again.
For a good example i will share with you my nap patterns: I go to bed at 10PM every night and i wake up at 5:10 AM (i have work SUPER early), I then work for 4 hours, come home and sleep for another 2. I start off pretty alert but as it draws nearer to 10AM i start to feel tired..which allows me to easily go to sleep when i nap!
