I'm learning about Lucid Dreaming as a joint effort with 4 of my friends, 1 of whom Lucid Dreams naturally to an extent. A lot of my other friends and family know aswell as they are interested in these sort of things. It surprises me how many people don't share it and that when they do people are uninterested. Then again, I would imagine it would be awkward trying to explain/introduce the idea to someone who doesn't want to know.

Everyone always loves to talk about their dreams when I mention it. Most of the time it takes about 10 minutes for them to realize they have no idea what I am talking about, or that we are talking about completely different things. The concept of lucid dreaming is difficult for most people to grasp when they only have experience with normal dreams.
