Lucid dreaming and out of body experiences..
I have been wondering about this for a while. Is it so that out of body experiences are actually lucid dreams, but for ones who doesn't know it, might interpetate it as an OBE? Another thing, many OBE's are told by people who has been operated, so they have been under narcoses. Could it be, that the activity in the brain during narcoses are way higher than what it would be in a dream, and therefore, many OBE's might seem as very very realistic because it feels more real than a normal lucid dream under such drugging?

Vinje, I have also wondered the same thing. I personally have never had an OBE, but have ready quite a bit about them.
My scientific training compells me to always look for the simplest and most elegantly simple explaination to things. That said, although I think OBEs could exist, I tend to think that the majority of 'OBEs' people experience are in reality lucid dreams.
Just my opinion though, others have differing views on the subject. :D

Yeah, in my opinion, an OBE happens during a NDE. If you see things in LDs that happen in reality, you are remote viewing..... :D
