Becoming Lucid Advice ?
Hey guys and gals, this is my third post now and you people are amazing and great help, but I still need some advice on becoming lucid again. So the first time I was lucid was when performing the DEILD technique but this was accidental. I only realised I performed it once I woke form the LD.. I've been told that I should practice at this technique but I can't seem to attain lucidly. I can't seem to recognise if I'm dreaming or not, even though I am able to remember dreams and perform hourly reality checks in reality. However Im not to sure on my dream signs as I don't have many as I'm not too sure what I'm looking for. Could anyone advise me in my situation as I am eager to LD once again. Thank you :)

For your dream signs, just write down your dreams in a journal and look for consistent things. I used to think I only had one or two dream signs, but since I've been writing them down and paying more attention, a few more have came apparent to me. Some of them will show up less and some more. As for the DEILD, I'm unsure. I just started practicing that last night but to no avail! :(

Welcome to Dreamviews, LucidMaximus!
As Lahso says, write your dreams in DJ, find recurring things or actions and those, that you also see/do in waking life could become your dream signs. Then RC on those.
You say you RC every hour - please remember, that it's not enough to just RC. You have to really put emotions into that. When the thought of possibility of being in dream hits you, really be surprised and question reality. If you use a clock or some other reminder to do RCs, try to use them less and RC also without them, at random times.
I think you mean DILD - when you realize you dreaming while you are in regular dream. This is the easiest method. You need your RCs and DJing. It would really help you, if you added some mantras (phrases you repeat to reinforse your intent) and awareness. Here is a collection of all these methods.
And for extra awareness (this is what will trigger your realization that you dreaming), I recommend this lesson from DV Academy. It is for a different technique (WILD), but it's great also for DILD.
So read up, give it a try and post your questions. Happy dreams :alien:
