What have been your favorite dream roles?
Lucid or Non-lucid! I personally find that dream roles are one of the most incredible and fun part of the schemas of dreams. Lots of talk goes into controling your surroundings, and turning ordinary into the extrodinary around you. But how often do you morph your own point of view into an extrodinary thing? It's fascinating to me that dreams allow us to turn ourselves into anything we want, or they just end up making us believe we are some fascinating character accomplishing a goal by the end of the night.
What brought this to mind was a dream I had last night where I played the head of the royal guard of Naboo, escorting Queen Amidala to her safe room during an assasination attempt. The Queen's character was later played by my wife (Jealous?).
Anyways! That got me thinking of all of the fascinating characters I've gotten act out and morph myself into in the past. Matter of fact, years ago the first time I came to a conclusion that I wanted to pursue lucid dreaming, was after I woke up one night after having a dream that I was stuck inside of a locked school building. I got out by breaking one of the windows and sprouted myself a pair of black wings. I loved those wings. But I want to hear about other people's experiences and creative ideas!
I'll start out by telling my personal favorite that I'll always revert back too. Whenever I become fully lucid and can manage to remember to do this, I'll turn my body into a wolf/man's. If you've seen movies like The Underworld and VanHelsing- that's similar to what I'm talking about. To me, there's nothing more liberating than to be able to run on all fours as fast as you can imagine, jumping to rooftops and traveling throw towns at night.
Lets get some discussion going-
