Dreaming about girl I don't know

Last night I dreamt of this great girl but the dream was all weird. The girl was the girlfriend of my friend although my friend does not have a girlfriend in real life. I confirmed this fact yesterday afternoon. What was weird was that I had this instant connection with her although I have never met her before and she was everything I envisioned my perfect girlfriend to be. I even remember that her name was unique and starts with an A but have since forgotten it. Could someone please help me interpret this dream? What does this all mean?

I usually don't interpret dreams but I guess strangers in dreams can be anything from a representive of your inner self to a part of your mind that want to give you an advice. I don't think it's fully created, you always see people in street, school, movies, everywhere which your subconscious spot them. Then a random "appearance" of a person is in ur dream but about the "personality", I do agree 10000% with what MasterMind said.
