LD and Science: Work of LaBerge
Anyone interested in LDs, and have not read Stephen LaBerge's books, or attended his trial studies, seminars, camps, or even been a lab rat....DO SO!
I just spent 10 days at his summer Dream Camp!
Not only does he share his 20+ years of research and lab studies he has conducted at Stanford, he even lets you in on some secrets...I have not found them here on this forum...yet.
The Nova Dreamer is also pretty neat...he's hoping to have a new model with more features within the year. It also shows you what your sleep pattern was, REM patterns and how many times you were 'signaled' during REM periods.
Seeker mentioned his work to prove Real Time LD with moving the eyes in certain patterns. He also has proven that "Time" is essentially the same in LDs. Lab rats would give a signal once they were Lucid, and then start the tests: 10 seconds, One MInute, etc. and they were dead on to pretty dang close...for estimations (when compared to waking results).
Sex in LDs was another topic studied in the sleep labs...Those were some hilarious studies! Especially the accounts of the lab rats going out and trying to find 'someone to get laid' "In the interest of science"
Check him out if ya haven't yet...Well worth it!
has a website too and always looking for dream study participants.
Hang Lucid!
ofp
WELL Worth it!
