Is it just me, or did anyone else tend to have lucid dreams a lot as a kid?
Over the years I've kind of forgotten about dreaming all together, my recall is terrible. I can still remember though, when I was in primary school, dreams where for some reason I realised I was in a dream...and attempted to do things I wouldn't/couldn't usually do. One of the things I noticed straight away was my inability to stay in the dream once I realised what was going on (I just figured that was normal, 'hey, i'm in a dream, I better hurry and do something because its going to end soon'), I also had trouble controlling parts of it...nevertheless I still remember making myself fly, turning myself into animals by yelling out their names (which worked maybe twice) and stuff. Anyway, I never really thought much of it back then, but now I wish I could still become lucid and recall my dreams that well today. Finding this forum kind of awoke my desire for dreaming like I used to, and I notice a lot of techniques that I figured out by myself as a kid mentioned here (voice commands...umm...thats about it).
Anyway, i'd just like to know other peoples experiences, because contrary to what I used to believe...I dont think all my friends were having similar dreams at the time.
Also thanks for making such a great site! I cant keep my mind off dreaming now...
