Help
Ok my current reality check is wearing a watch all day. How often do I need to check my watch for this to work and what should I think when I do check my watch. Is this a reliable reality check? Or should I do more? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

When reality checking during the day, ask yourself, Am I dreaming? Really believe that you might be dreaming - do not assume until you reality check.
The RC you are using currently is okay, but it is based on the contingency that you will have your watch on in your dream. A better one to do is the nose pinch RC - you pinch your nose and breathe in. If you can breathe through your shut nostrils, you're dreaming. This one's a lot more reliable, for you always have a nose, and it's guaranteed to work (It always has for me).

Yeah try to learn more RCs. And how often? Well as much as possible. Just make it a habit. Or when you are tired or have a lot of stuff to do so you forget to do RC regularly, do it at lest when you feel strange, like when you see something odd around or so.

There shouldn't be a limit as to how often you can perform an RC, as long as you are genuinely wondering whether you are, or aren't dreaming.
The RCs lose their power if you don't.
To explain this, here's an example:
There's a man called Steve who is into lucid dreaming. Every now and then Steve pushes his finger into his hand as a 'reality check'.
The next night, his reality checks are starting to pay off as 'dream Steve' suspects he might be dreaming. He pushes his finger into his hand.
However, since Steve always did this without any thought or question, the finger either goes through (successfull RC) or doesn't (failed RC).
But no matter. It doesn't make the slightest difference, because of the lack of questioning.
The RC could have succeeded and the RC could have failed, but Steve would not have had a lucid dream regardless, since the RC lost its meaning.
