Are they BS or not?

I don't know about you guys but Im seriously thinking about taking the steps on it. I don't know much about publishing either but its worth some effort finding out more about it to get this extremely brilliant idea off the ground. Im going to do some research on it for sure. If anyone else has any other ideas to the Legal formalities of this please feel free to speak up on it. We have so many diversified intellects here I know someone knows more in regards to publishing a book. Oh and With all due respect Ice Dawg but I don't know about giving all the profits away like that. How about giving Ice like 30% and 70% could be split among the rest of the crew. Sounds good Ice. If we happen to profit 1 Million Dollars which is really nothing but hypothectically speaking. Ice could get 300 Thousand all to himself and 700 thousand can be split upon all others.

We should all come up with our lucid dreams, dreamsigns, etc and write a book on it. ew should meet in a chat and discuss how we are to write this book, establish a head person, and send them stuff we write to put together a book out of. wouldnt that be a cool idea? we could all come up with amazing NON cheesy truthfull stuff that people would beliveve. this could open up new worlds to many new people, increasing the amount of people on OUR side of the fense for once.

Dont expect it to be easy.
There can be both difficulties with expressing yourself, and legal troubles.
There are already manuals, which describe Lucid dreaming. They can say that you plagiaterized (sp?) their work, etc etc...

While in theory it sounds nice, A LOT of published books dont sell very well.. For example in our store we had a big sale of "how to " books... 99c each... I doubt you will make money of it...

Lets just do it for HUMANITY.
lets enlighten the masses about the joys of lucid dreaming, and if we give sufficient info on how to, we could help alot of people with dealing with their emotions, fears, etc. WE COULD SAVE MANKIND!!!

I think many people see it the same as you saying you can control your thoughts. Of course you can. It's nothing you can ever prove however, that you can LD.

I've also found that some people misunderstand you, and say they too can LD when you explain it to them, but they actually cant because they can remember some dreams where they think they make concious choices, when it is just a dream that so happens to be a bit realistic, and not whacky as usual.

when I finally succeeded in LDing, I told my family and friends, just to learn their reaction. So far only my closest friend said he will try it. Other replies ranged from "the power of human mind" to "I can do it every day", however I think that's just BS.

[b]DMC In the Book Exploring the world lf lucid dreaming, By Stephen LaBerge, he shook up the scientific community by pre determining an out come.By this I mean, he told the scientist he was going to move his eyes is successsion, say like for intervals (meanwhile, he was hooked up to all their monitoring devices) Which proved he was in REM sleep. He then had done what he said he was going to do when he became lucid. (while the rest of your body does not respond to movement, apparently your Eyes are the exception). Therefore proving he was aware while in the state of sleep.
In regards to the publishing topic lets start a new post or even a poll to see who would be interested.
I have had some difficulties with some ideas I have had with (ISC) -invention submission corporation. You have to put up a certaian amount of money for patents and research before you can go ahead with anything. I'm not sure if you would run into the same obsticals with publishing.
