Ever looked at the floor?
You know when you look down at the floor and you see all the details, the little rocks, the smudges and everything. I did it twice in my LD, and it looked perfect. You could see every tiny little detail and I was amazed. How in the hell does your brain do this?

Another Materialist!
Why do you think it is your Brain?
If you were a Spiritualist, then you could suppose that there is some Objective Spiritual Reality somewhere behind the Subjective Reality of your Dreamings.
so the detail of the Floor (in my dreams it was the ground outside) does not have to source out of the Brain but can be part of some Greater Collective Consciousness, or some Universal Spiritual Reality.

You could be right but there's no proof of that is there?

This dives into a whole other subject, but I find his theory to be consistent with one of mine, that the universe is all one consciousness. If a collection of atoms and molecules and cells can create consciousness within our brain, is it possible that a collection of planets, galaxies, and stars create consciousness as well? Could this be why it is said that god is everywhere, inside us all, and all that nonsence? Perhaps he is. How great could a mind be if it CONTAINS all of ours... this would very well give him 'cosmic' powers. Can you not control certain parts of your body?
At any rate, I don't BELIEVE any of this. I only believe what I actually know, and I don't actually know that the sun will come up tomorrow. I believe that it probably will... most likely, but who can really say? I say prove it.
Even though I can't BELIEVE this claim, I can still give it the DIGNITY of allowing for two minutes of THOUGHT on the subject, instead of dismissing it because the writer doesn't have PROOF, as you have done.
I challenge you to prove to me that you have a OUNCE of BRAIN MATTER in your head. :P
No. Wait.. I will not rule out the possibility. I will accept the possibility that you have intelligence, instead of insultingly shooting this theory down without giving it the benefit of the doubt.
What were you hoping to accomplish by posting this? To show that he has not proven that we are all one mind? Fine. Great job. I still hold firmly to what I believe, and don't believe.

Well, asking for proof is the proof that you are of that shallow breed of materialists. Well, it does no harm.
But the Flower of Psychological Possibilities opens up far wider for the Spiritual Hypothesis then for the limpass materialist.
It is the difference between the dreams of a Poet and those of an accountant.
