It's hard for me to determine how long but I think I cut REM Periods around 15 minutes while Lucid on my second cycle, but I went right back into a Lucid Dream self aware on the Following REM cycle Which was probably between 15 and 20 minutes.

I'd say the average longest time you will be in a lucid dream according to the physical world is 30 mins but while I was learning astral projection where they say to use WILDs as a backup they said its about 45 mins. One thing that you have to realize though is time isn't an actually force, element or whatever it is called. It really is more of something you sense. For instance say your in a 45 min class room but some days it feels like it was quick some days it felt long.
That is the same when dreaming, some dreams if you can recall in very detail can feel like years. (Would be cool to be so good to make it feel like i've been alive for a century) You ever dreamed before where maybe you walked from the kitchen of the house in your dream to the door and you wake up and notice its time to get up for work or school, that quick interaction in your dream felt like 2 seconds but in the physical world it was more like 5 hours.
The longest I've felt in a dream was maybe an hour or 2. It was a time being a spy if anyone has played splinter cell and I litterally had to sit there hoping to get captured by the mercenary.
Yeah I know what you mean. I get that also. I just always felt my dream recall was highten on my last REM Cycle and I completely forgotten about the previous cycles making that dream feel like a few seconds. I've had extended dreams also Non-Lucid and yes it felt like a century has went by I love those dreams because I always have a greater recall in longer dreams than the short ones and I always feel well rested. :hrm: I think I'll create a topic on that come to think of it. When I am able to continue the same dream from different REM cycles I call it REM extension.
