What Wouldn't You Do?

You guys are all sissies, not murdering innocent people and such... I rape, pillage, and plunder my dreamscapes! Well, when I'm in the mood :-P Sometimes I'm mr nice guy and I go around helping people. Usually I'm just like woo I'm dreaming, lets go flying!

I have been known to rain down fireballs upon hapless DCs from time to time (yes, even the innocent ones - them especially :evil: )

Edit - Actually I don't think I'd kill/rape/whatever any innocent children, just cause I dunno, I guess I'm not THAT messed up :-P Well maybe I would - don't think I'd feel bad about it afterwards or anything - but I'd rather fly around and shoot fireballs at people :flyaway:

Um, interesting question. Well, i wouldnt rape anyone. I would NEVER EVER EVER do anything affiliated with Manchester United.

As for killing? bring it. sex? every hour on the hour. masturbation? i do it twice a day in real life so why stop there?

Usually, if I try to do something extreme or 'immoral', like sex, I get pulled out of the dream. When I was a kid I had this belief there was a 'keeper' who let people be in the dream world, but you couldn't do anything wrong, or he would throw you out. :)

I don't have anything against doing 'such' things, however; if you cheat on your spouse in your dreams, I would reluctantly call it cheating. Reluctantly, because I am a man and thus has such uncontrollable desires, but that does not change the moral aspect. You should be able to keep yourself under control, even in dreams. Remember, if you cheat in your dreams, it's because you not only wanted to, but you did it as well, because you knew you wouldn't get caught. And what kind of morality is that? Sure, we all have strong fantasies and desires (including rape), but controlling it is an important aspect in mastering your own psyche.

You may argue that letting go of your restrictions and act out your fantasies is good, and I won't question that. To some extent I even agree. I just try to put it in perspective: If you cheat, you cheat.

I wouldn't do sex or masturbation in a dream... I mean, I'm not against them or anything, but I just think that sex is dirty, I don't like the idea.

Why all the buzz with the killing and raping stuff? It is not an ethical question unless it involves other people. Since DC's are not people, but rather projections of what you think is likely to happen, killing or raping DC's is not an ethical question.

I would never do anything boring in a LD

Sex is not dirty at all (it can be, that's when it's most fun hehe) it's something beautiful, a sharing of love between two people, an experience of ultimate trust. Why do you think married people do it on their wedding night?

Just think, you can have married sex in your LDs, then it wouldn't be dirty :)

Oh, sex is dirty. I definitely agree. I'm not saying it's not FUN and "beautiful" (sometimes), but, whatever else, it's definitely dirty.

(At least, if done right)


As for what I wouldn't do in a dream? Well, I'd do pretty much anything. I don't believe in objective morality, so as far as I'm concerned, as long as I'm not hurting anybody in real-life, all good. So, there's nothing I wouldn;t do in a dream.

HOWEVER. That isn't to say that I'd ENJOY doing certaion things in dreams. Take killing, torture, or rape, for instance. Though I would have no moral blocks about doing such things in DREAMS (as I'm not hurting anyone), I really don't think those actions hold much interest for me... I wouldn't get much out of them. Though I might try, for instance, killing a DC just for the sake of interest or curiosity or fascination, beyond that, I don;t believe I'd derive any pleasure from it. I'd rather fly, or have sex, or turn into a cat.

i wouldnt do any gay stuff, but thats probaby all.


last night i had a dream that disturbed me though (non lucid) and i was with my good friends girlfriend and we were intimate. bugged me the fucc out, but if i was lucid i probably wouldnt stop it, because its just a dream and she is a hottie.

I would never kill someone. It doesn't make a difference to me that anybody I killed would be a dream character; I just couldn't go through with such a close approximation to real murder. I know I would feel awful afterwards.

Nothing, there are no boundaries. Everything is a possibility in my eyes. Its only a dream after all.

I wouldn't kill random people in sick twisted ways. Example... I would not chop up someone and eat them. Or skin someone alive. I may take a machinegun and shoot everyone down.. or blow up buildings.. Because thats more action movie type stuff. But i wouldn't do things that resemble serial killers.

I also wouldn't do gay stuff.

There is nothing I wouldn't do at least once. If I feel crummy after doing something once, I just won't do it anymore.

Basically its pretty simple:
Don't do anything that goes against your own personal values/morals.
Because you are lucid and in control, u would wake up and know what you did was a decision (not like a normal crazy dream), and therefore, you would end up regretting it.

But in the end, its a dream. How real u say it is, is up to u :wink:
