So, I am going to do a Wake Back to Bed to try and have a lucid dream tonight. Problem is, I can't do this unless it's the weekend. I can't wait that long! :)
So, my question to you is: If I go to bed at 9:00 PM and sleep for 5 hours, waking up at 2:00AM, then staying up for an hour watching / reading about Lucid Dreams til 3:00 AM, then taking a "nap" until 6:40-7:00AM, would I still be doing the correct WBTB method?
Because I need to leave for school at 7:00, so I have to get up... so it wouldn't be a nap, more of a finishing my sleep.
Or is that possibly too long of a "nap" (That would be NEARLY 4 hours)? Should I go to bed at 10:00PM, allowing for about a 3 hours nap?
Sorry if that's confusing
If you can't understand it, basically what I'm asking is, if I have to leave at 7:00 AM tomorrow, what time should I:
A) Go to bed
B) Wake Up
C) Go Back to Bed (until 6:40-7:00AM)
?

.dunno if this helps, hope it does. Is it really necessary to be awake for a full hour before heading back to sleep?? Im reading you can go back to bed only after 10 minutes if you feel like, the most important part is thinking & reading about lucid dreaming while you are awake..
I wish you good luck in having a beautiful lucid dream

I heard you can wake up, turn your alarm off and go straight back to sleep just concentrating on keeping your mind awake. Kind of like WILD but your body falls asleep so quickly that you don't need to wait for ages for it to happen because it is so tired.
Oh and make sure you are focusing on entering the dream you jsut came out of also.

Vetuxo, your plan sounds good. And like the others said, you don't necessarily have to stay up for an hour. Sometimes I only get up, use the bathroom, get a drink, and go back to bed, and that's enough time. Do whatever works, but don't feel like you have to stay up for an exact predetermined amount of time.
