ur totally right homie, i dont really talk to anyone that i know will be ignorant about it and ill only talk about it if they ask:)
I find it really strange that more people aren't into this. If they invented virtual reality via a computer, pretty much everyone would be jumping through hoops to give it a try. But lucid dreaming gets lumped with other new age stuff like OOBEs, and somehow loses its credibility.
yeah i agree, i think people lose interest when they hear they must pick up certain habits and train themselves to recognize it. The 21st century person just wants everything out of a freezer, box or pill; no one wants to have to work for their talents or privileges.
I don't think that's the case with lucid dreaming, cause most people disregard it without even knowing you have to work to have lucid dreams. Maybe people just don't care about it at first because it may seem like it has nothing good to offer them in their lives.Quote:

And yeah, I agree about that issue on modern society's "I have to see it to believe it" attitude. I know that in the Philippines [well the area my mom grew up in] they'd seriously all take into regard about lucid dreams and all even if they've never heard of it before, but they value superstitions and religion more than wealth and material goods others would consider a must have. If only everyone were more open minded...

I think people just dont want to hear about it because it sound so new-ageish. I dont like all of those woogi-bogees too, but LD is just dreaming with knowing youre dreaming... And dreaming is a natural process that almost all mamals have...
