This is my first message on Dreamviews so first of all... hi everybody.
I'm 23 years old guy from Slovenia, EU. I study electrotechnic science.
I found about lucid dreaming and Dreamviews a year ago when i typed "dream control" into google.
Soo... I have read a lot of material on this forum in the past. I just haven't had the time to realy try to have LD. Until now. Impressed by my first lucid dreams I decided to join the Dreamviews community and share my experiences. Here goes... :)
Yesterday I went to bed and woke up at 6am. I went to toilet and than back to bed. I tried to WILD but i fell asleep. I had normal dreams and suddenly realized that I'm dreaming. I did the nose RC and it worked. I followed my primary plan for first LDs and tried to find my dream guide. I pictured a door and "decided" that behind that door my dream guide will be. Well... it kind of was... it was my mother (lol). I asked her, what is the magic word I must say when I go to bed that will cause me to have lucid dreams. She told me, that there is no such word and that only hard work will get me there. I was satisfied and went away to enjoy my lucidity. I tried to shoot with my hand, but it didn't work. My mother told me that i am not ready yet for this and showed me her skils. She shot a Star Wars like laser-bullet from her finger. Than i found a water pistol and poured in some water. I shot at the building 300 feet away and caused an incredible explosion. My lucidity than started to fade away. I can just remember that at one moment i looked at the dreamworld and was impressed by how realistic it looks and also that i shot a devastating energyshock from a small candle in my hand. I could feel the hot wax on my hand. The feeling was very realistic. I could probably remember a lot more but i just haven't had the time to write my LDs in my DJ after i woke up. What a terrible thing to do, isn't it? But i simply had no time avaliable!
Anyway, i have a few questions.
1. Could it be that my dream guide is my mother? I mean... it's kind of annoying. I expected an old guy with a long beard. :)
2. Is it possible through DILD to achieve 90%-100% lucidity? Mine was kind of 60%-70% lucidity.
3. Do you have to constantly remind yourself that you are dreaming? It seems to me that it's hard to stay lucid. Does in time becomes easier to become and stay lucid?
(4. There really is no magic word? :) )
Thank you. Have fun and LDs :)
