I'm guessing that a google search will enlighten me...
Another group on that list would be the Tibetan Buddhist Dream Yogi's... in general, and together.
The top two directed the matrix (I think I spelled thier names wrong though) Peter Andre is a crappy australian pop singer and Matt Bellamy is the lead singer and guitarist of Muse, who are possibly the best band there is at the moment.
Ah.. cool. Didnt know those two LDed
I think its pronounced 'Wachowski' - russian or polish. something along those lines...
I knew that! Thats why the matrix is similair... and why neo doing 'the superman thing' :P
The first two are, like said in the posts before me, the directors of The Matrix; they "invented" it and now I know what their inspiration was! How do you know they LD, source?
Henry David Thoreau
Richard Linklater
Mateo Gil
Those are the only ones I can think of.
I also have a feeling, but I cannot confirm, that Lewis Carroll was a lucid dreamer.
Oh hey, that's so cool! :D :D The Matrix thing now all makes sense on a new level.
I bet whoever created "Waking Life" LDed as well. (Sorry if someone already mentioned their names in this thread, I don't know what they are.) And "Vanilla Sky".
It'd be cool if that was every great filmmaker's secret.
wow, why hasn't anyone said Stephen LeBerge yet?!
Ha, cuz that's a pretty obvious one. :P
Richard Linklater?
Umm, yes that's the director of "Waking Life." I'm not sure if you're answering Scwigglie or asking Loose Id, so I'll just clear that up for everyone.Quote:

We all know him but the mainstream public doesn't. :)
still, he is a "famous lucid dreamer." I believe what she meant to ask was "does anyone know any famous people who lucid dream?" That would make more sense.Quote:

To add to the list:
Brandon Boyd (of Incubus)
Cameron Crowe (director of Vanilla Sky)
Question:
How do you know that Matt Bellamy is a lucid dreamer? Is there a reference to it in one of his songs?
.....In other news I saw Muse two nights ago and got lost in their music for a few moments. They are amazing.
I'm not completely sure about this, but I've heard before that Albert Einstein could lucid dream.
i wouldnt be surprised if many great artists were lucid dreamers, or indeed characters from the bible, what with the excessive references to dreams in the bible and all.
and muse is one of my favourite bands, they rock!
In Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming, it mentions that Albert Einstein could have been a lucid dreamer. :tongue:Quote:

I'll bet Jon Anderson, lead singer of the band Yes is an LDer.
A couple of lyric lines from "I Wanna Learn" off of Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe:
"I wanna change all that I dream about..."
"I was awakened by the dream..."
Of course, many of Jon's lyrics are pretty spaced out.
i whouldn't be surprised if Houdine(that famous escape artist) chould lucid dream. he chould use lucid dreaming to proform his stunts and figure out how to do them in his dreams and then he chould do it right in life just a theory...
Like I have discovered in an experiment, most artists are lucid dreamers, also Matt mentioned "knowing he was dreaming" years back wen Muse first started.
my mom of course
The thinker Emanuel Swedenborg was a lucid dreamer, I think.

Was it mentioned any reasons why he may have been a lucid dreamer? I think it have been pretty interesting if several historical scientists have been lucid dreamers.Quote:

Perhaps people think much about complex things in lucid dreams. What do you say?
