Asking their name, tips about how to make your dream better, and their opinions on random things I think are popular things people ask them
My DC's think that Ralph Nader would make a great president.
Wonder where they got that one from.

From a few experiences i have read dream characters say they stay in the dream world all the time, to them it is their reality. I read a really good one a while back, i will try to find it.Quote:

I once asked a Dc what he thought of dreams. He said 'dreams are the soliliquy of the soul.' I have no idea what thats supposed to mean.

Never thought about that one, I just fuck em'/kill em(anyone else). Only DC that ever mattered to me was the puppy dog with a cape who flew by my side when I busted out the superman :banana:
I'll have to see who they think should be the next US president tho, see if my subconscious cares more about the topic than I do.

I have tried this with a few and i have had pretty accurate results.
I like mark's Task of the Month question: Tell me something about myself that I don't know.
Recently when I became lucid, I found myself in that familiar apartment building again. This LD was very solid and I knew that I would be there a while.
In the past, I had allowed the sight of those familiar DC's fool me into thinking they were real people, but this time I knew better!
So I sat them all down and explained to them that I was on to their deceit
and that I would no longer loose my LD's because I thought they were real.
I mean these DC's were all people that I know everyday, and I wasnt able to do certain LD tasks because of their familiarity.
They all understood that I was in charge now, so I then went about my LD business, practiced flying above the city, did some shape changing. There was no longer any hesitation to do what I wanted because of DC's watching me!
Interesting thread.
I aways ask DCs "what year is it?". This seems to confuse most of them and often they will all tell me a different year. Maybe the year they tell me is the year it actually is for them rather than for the dream enviroment.
Ask them if they have ever had a lucid dream.
Ask them (or tell them) whenever they see you in future to come up to you and tell you this is a dream and that you must do a reality check and become lucid. In fact you could call a meeting of all the dream characters that appear on a regular basis in your non-lucid dreams and ask them to do this for you whenever they see you in future. I call this DCILD.
If I remember to, I will ask a dream character to show me his/her soul.
I hope they unzip their body like in the cartoons so their soul can step out of their Dream Character suit.

I only got as far as asking "Are you my Spirit Guide?", I got a no :P.

I actually don't interact too much with my DC's. They are mostly like extras in a movie--part of the atmosphere.
Though, once, when i was a secret agent in a dream, a flesh furby started telling me to avoid the oak tree, or else i'd have leukemia.
I think next time I'll just walk up to a DC and ask them why they're doing what they're doing, and follow up those answers with other "why's" to see if any of them have a temper--or at least some good explanations as to why they need to exist in my dreams in the first place.

i asked what kind of Crunch bar I should buy and he started ranting about the different kinds.

I ask him his name, and he says it's Travis, so I write that down.
Ask them for the lottery, play the lottery the day before, and see if the daily unused parts of your brain can calculate it!
You should give them one of those idiot tests... like, get a piece of paper and write "Turn Over" on both sides.
I always wondered where they would go when i'm awake...probably still in the same place, just unaware they are there because wea re awake at the time.
A couple I have asked recently are Why are you here and when am I going to die? Interesting answers to them lol
Ask it to be friends with you.. and tell it to visit you in evry dream and tell you to realitly check. So that you can go chill with said person. If they say no... just rape them!:D:D:D
