Thread: The best questions to ask DCs

Interesting thread.

I aways ask DCs "what year is it?". This seems to confuse most of them and often they will all tell me a different year. Maybe the year they tell me is the year it actually is for them rather than for the dream enviroment.

Ask them if they have ever had a lucid dream.

Ask them (or tell them) whenever they see you in future to come up to you and tell you this is a dream and that you must do a reality check and become lucid. In fact you could call a meeting of all the dream characters that appear on a regular basis in your non-lucid dreams and ask them to do this for you whenever they see you in future. I call this DCILD.

If I remember to, I will ask a dream character to show me his/her soul.

I hope they unzip their body like in the cartoons so their soul can step out of their Dream Character suit.

Yes I might try that one myself Vex Kitten, could be an interesting outcome!

I only got as far as asking "Are you my Spirit Guide?", I got a no .

Aww. Jesus, i would have felt so deflated at that moment.

I actually don't interact too much with my DC's. They are mostly like extras in a movie--part of the atmosphere.

Though, once, when i was a secret agent in a dream, a flesh furby started telling me to avoid the oak tree, or else i'd have leukemia.

I think next time I'll just walk up to a DC and ask them why they're doing what they're doing, and follow up those answers with other "why's" to see if any of them have a temper--or at least some good explanations as to why they need to exist in my dreams in the first place.

I think I've taken the first steps towards better communication and interaction with the DC world.

You should give them one of those idiot tests... like, get a piece of paper and write "Turn Over" on both sides.

I always wondered where they would go when i'm awake...probably still in the same place, just unaware they are there because wea re awake at the time.

A couple I have asked recently are Why are you here and when am I going to die? Interesting answers to them lol

That's actually a really good idea! I think I'll try that next time I get a chance. Not sure whether it will work or not, but it's totally worth a try!
