From my experience with WILDing, it doesn’t always lead to REM type lucid dreaming. It can lead to experiences and areas of consciousness other than lucid dreams. It always leads to areas that are normally considered “subconscious”. However, if some consciousness is maintained such as in a lucid dream it is not “subconscious“. If consciousness and recall are lost, then it is considered “subconscious“.
WILDing may lead to, false awakening, (and lucid false awakening), an empty void where only pure consciousness exists, an empty void where only pure consciousness and the dream body exist, and it can also lead to dialogs with the inner voice,… problem solving, etc. All of these are while the body is asleep, can be recalled upon awakening, and can be beneficial to the WILDer.
Has anyone else ever experienced these or similar things?
