From my experience with WILDing, it doesn’t always lead to REM type lucid dreaming. It can lead to experiences and areas of consciousness other than lucid dreams. It always leads to areas that are normally considered “subconscious”. However, if some consciousness is maintained such as in a lucid dream it is not “subconscious“. If consciousness and recall are lost, then it is considered “subconscious“. |

It's an altered state of consciousness, there are many levels of it. It's all technically a lucid dream or hypnogogic imagery. What the Buddhists call enlightenment is scientifically a lucid dream from the descriptions. |

Something like that... different things happen different times. Each experience is worth while. I never had anything bad happen. Sometimes the same techniques do result in a LD, sometimes I wind up somewhere else... |

So what you are saying is that once I've crosses over into a deep delta state with consciousness, that it's all technically lucid dreaming with different types of content. I guess that explanation works. |
