Blinding dream sunlight disturbing/waking you up from a lucid?
So I managed to end a horrible dry spell last night with a great lucid! (Thanks everyone from the chat last night, I think all that talk about LDing did it! :D)

I try to fly above them, but there are just more layers that I have to peek between. I'm up there with that one girl, and then the rest of the group slowly joins us. So I affirm that it's a dream and stare at the huge wall of cloud in front of me. "CLOUDS! PART!" I say, raising my hands like a prayer and then pulling them apart, imagining that I have control over the clouds. They start to part very quickly, showing us the country side beyond, and I am reveling in flying, controlling the sun and the clouds, seeing the beauty of my own mind, the friendliness of the DCs, when I wake right up :)
I am wondering if anyone has had similar experiences with the sun, because I've read a lot about people looking into the sun and watching sunsets so I'm not sure what happened. A lot of my lucids take place at night or indoors, so I don't think I've ever actually seen the sun in a lucid dream. I was just so afraid to lose my vision because I thought it would be like blinking or just going all black :(... a problem that usually ends in me waking up.
Also there was no real sunlight or bright light shining into my eyes. It was all part of the dream, nothing physical and real invading the dream.
If you've ever experienced anything like this, do you have any advice besides ignoring it/making the sun set like I did? The only thing I can think of is that dream sunglasses might do the trick :tongue:
