In the only case I can remember, the DCs showed me to this room that held all sorts of remnants from my childhood/teenage years.
I read all through this thread after typing my reply and didn't notice that it was 7 years old. Ooh well, seems like a thread worth reviving. :)
Mine usually look at me like I'm crazy or something, then slowly disappear when I'm not looking. I have a couple that tend to stick around and act like nothing happened. Occasionally one tries to fight with me, but I just glare at them and they back down immediately.
I had one that annoyed the hell out of me when I was lucid by repeatedly asking me if I was dreaming, distracting me from my lucid mission. I melted him into a puddle on the floor. This was by far the most satisfying destruction of a DC. + Journal Entry Link
they don't believe me and get mad xD
Lol. My DCs are the most the most subservient people I've ever met. I think it's because I have very strong dream control, but if I tell them to do anything they do it, and i've never had any attack or try to convince me that I'm awake.
it seems like they know you because technically, they are you. So when your DC's are telling you that you're dreaming, maybe it's because, depending on how many LD's you've had, you're subconscious mind is sort of aware when you're dreaming. I hope this makes some sense as it's morning and my brain isn't fresh lol
When I let my dream characters know that they're in my dream, they either try to get away from me with a look on their faces like they've just commited some brutal crime, or simply just literally melt before my eyes. Anyone else experienced this?
The only time I interacted with a DC in a lucid dream I asked him what he represented (in my subconscious), upon hearing this question he panicked and tried to escape... Link
Another time I was explaining to this girl about a riddle with several parts, like for example: "What does it mean if you're able to jump 5 meters over a road?" She didn't know the answer and got increasingly annoyed. When I finally said that the answer was "It means you're dreaming!" She replied angrily: "Well why don't you realize that you're dreaming right now??" Stunned I realized she was right, and woke up. :cheeky:
I did this for the first time last night, the two DCs got really angry and tried to chase me. I locked myself in my room though lol!
They wouldn´t care less. They just continue whatever they´re doing, and if I tell them it´s a dream, they say something like "Yeah, so?" (Although it would be nice if they´d told that to me, not vice versa.) But I quess things could be worse, right?
they act casual, as if they have no clue it's a dream/they kind of accept it without any surprise. I haven't gotten lucid right next to people before though.
My Dc's are like brain dead from what I remember of my lucid dreams they are like zombies they do what I say and when I'm not talking to them ore anything else ;) they are just standing there...doing nothing
Well I just had my first lucid dream recently, and i tried to tell my dc that i was in a dream and my dc bursted out in laughter. My dc went crazy laughing like mad but i again insisted that this was a dream, and my dc grabbed me by my throat and told me that its not a dream its reality. So yh, my first experience of lucid dreaming involved me being attacked lol.
when i was dreaming last night, my godsister was there and i asked her "am i dreaming" and she just shrugged her shoulders without a word
For the most part, my DCs don't seem particularly put out. I've often had lucid dreams where I'll approach the first DC I see and start up the whole conversation about 'You're an aspect of my subconscious'. Some will come back with an interested, "Oh, really?" Some will already know. Some don't seem to case as much, but I've never had a surprised or angry one.
The really fun conversations are few and far between, unfortunately. Heh, I'm reminded of a point some DC made on the subject, "Well, I'm a part of your subconscious, which you don't have access to by definition -- So there's really no difference here than talking with any random other person, unless you're trying to talk about something you couldn't know or imagine... which you CAN'T do, again, by definition." *shrug* Smartass DC.
I use a command like If you keep annoying me you will never be in my dreams again
they usaully walk away or have a confused face the reactions are funny sometimes
When I tell them it's a dream they're usually like 'seriously? Are you sure?' and sometimes I show them how to do a reality check. They'll usually try and be really surprised when they seem to realize it's a dream.
Now that I think about it , my dc's tend to follow me, all of them are really nice to me.
My ld's aren't consistent, but somebody would always be following me around, most of the times we're even in groups.
I don't even think they're aware that they're dc's actually, but there's been maybe, 3 occurrences where some dc's would lecture me about lucid dreaming..
But always, I'm never alone roaming about the dream world.........
Sometimes it is my DC's that tell me I'm dreaming. Sometimes I even argue with them for a minute or two until I realize that they are right. Once my family had a surprise party for me, with a huge banner that said "congratulations! You're lucid!"
After that they either just act normal or act a little slow witted like they don't quite get what's going on.
I felt this chicks boobs while she was talking to me then she ran away crying
In my first lucid dream that I actually did anything, 2 days ago I think. My friend that in real life lucid dreams all the time was there, in the dream I thought we were both dreaming, i don't beleive in shared dreams by the way :P I remember us both agreeing to remember the dream xD
but I lost him in the dream and found my mom, I asked her how it felt to be a dream character and she looked at me like she was going to kill me and then I woke up.
i tell them that this is a dream and they don't believe me. I have not convinced one yet.
Most of them act stupid, but some are normal. I sometimes take DC's on adventures with me.
I don't know it depends, sometimes they act normal sometimes they stare sometimes they have dairy of the mouth. Just depends for me.
