Instant Dreamstate !!!!
i know that you guys have them and i think this is a pretty interesting thing
when im tired and i know i will go to sleep pretty quickly i drift into a dream state which usually includes 1 or 2 mini dreams
these dreams for me have a higher state of awareness and are clear also for me they happen from about 5-15 minutes after LYING DOWN
also i dont have to try to get these they just come out of no where
when the realization that its a dream gets too much and i say oh this is a dream i cant get lucidity but i do still see a bunch of images
i probably notice this like 3-5 a week
anyone else had experiences like this
-
hmm...sorry, cant say that i do..i dont even get instant dreamstate o_o

I get something like what you described, when I'm pretty tired. It often serves as a segway to sleep, but if my consciousness kicks on at all I just wake all the way up again.
-
yeah thats kinda what i was trying to say
its kinda like a mini dream but i usually wake back up when they happen
-
Yeah i get this a lot. I start to see things and hear things, usually this just leads on to a real dream. As soon as i realize what is going on i wake up straight away. I've tried to stay with it so i could enter the dream but i always seem to fall asleep completely or i wake up totally.
Peace Sensi.

yeah i get it too... Its like what i call 'shallow sleep.' i was in a dance class and we did relaxation, i fell asleep for a few seconds and it wasnt proper sleep sleep, but my consious mind was shutting down. I started to see colours and all i rememberd was a really quick image of a bannana!!! random or what!!! then i woke up. Isort of knew that it was a dream, but i was too consious to stay in the dream i think. I reckon the only way to stay in a dream as shallow as this is to really practise your focus. Become focused on the fact that you are not awake, but do this slowly, or will come as a shock and you willl wake up... just an idea, i really dont know that this will work :P hope i helped tho! :D
 [/i]

i get the same problem. i wish i could let it flow into real sleep/dreaming like WILD.
also this happens in the morning just as the dream is finishing, its sort of the same thing. I become lucid and wake up because its too 'shallow'
-
yeah i have a much higher % chance of getting lucid in the morning but it doesnt last very long
