Lucidity Help
I have a dream journal and all, and I write down the main points of my dreams but I got a problem.
I've had several lucid dreams throughout my life, but most of them are DILDs that occur randomly. Yeah, I think lucid dreams are great but I haven't had one since July. Do you have any tips about increasing LD frequency?
I also acknowledge the fact that I'm horrible at noticing dream signs, most of the time my dreams have a set story already and I rarely break out of it, are there any tips about breaking the cycle?; Do you have any special techniques to recognize dream signs?
- Thanks

Either you can try to increase the likelyhood of a DILD or you can work at a more active technique. I see you've done one DEILD since you joined. Do you think that you could learn to DEILD more often?
You could also try autosuggestion with a mantra like "I will realize I'm dreaming." That might be enough to give you some more LDs.
I used to struggle to realize in the dream that I could go off and do my own thing. When I first started to work to break out of the dream plot I used the autosuggestion mantra "Say 'I'm dreaming!'" It worked for me because whenever I said out loud in a LD "I'm dreaming" it signaled to me that I could do my own thing. Come up with a mantra for autosuggestion that you think will work for you.
