What did you think of LDing when you first heard of it?
I learned LDing by myself ages ago. I never knew of the phrase 'lucid dream' until I read about it in a newspaper magazine about the human brain and intellegence. Of course I knew it was real, having experienced it already :P
If I had never had a lucid dream and just read about it today I'd think (dunno though) I'd find it believable. I'm sceptical about things like astral projection or mind reading, but lucid dreaming seems to me just as conceivable as the idea that people dream about yellow cars (and I've never dreamed about yellow cars).
Dreams........**dreamy look in his eye**
I had always been facinated with dreams, and sleep, and so I did some searching on the internet, and lo and behold, I found Laberge's book, after I *cough* lost *cough* *cough* my copy, I did more searching online and found this place! Been into it ever since. But when I first heard about it, it was like "That's the way we're MEANT to dream." it was like this wasted time at night became a resource of imagination and freedom.
