Was this sleep paralysis? HELP

After waking up this morning, I got up from my bed and sat down. I laid down in bed again and after 5-10 minutes, I think that I got a sleep paralysis. It felt a bit tingling and there were minor vibrations. I didn't have the patience for WILD, rolled over and fell asleep (I had school today). Was this sleep paralysis?

ALSO:
I usually just count when trying to stay aware.
(1, I am aware. 2, I am aware. Etc.)
Is this a good method and do you have any other advice?

Yes, I did.

Were you actually paralyzed? If you were not paralyzed, it was not SP. Since you said you just rolled over and gave it up, it sounds like it wasn't. You'll be the one to tell, though.

But I mean the vibrations and stuff like that. I couldn't move first but then I kinda forced myself to roll over and open my eyes.

But is my method good?

As long as something works for you, it's a fantastic method. Keeping yourself occupied by counting while going into SP is a very popular way to WILD.

I was just asking you to be more specific since you asked if it was SP, because HH are not always necessarily going to be SP. Since you asked, I thought I should clarify that. But, if you were paralyzed and couldn't move, that was SP. Goob job! :goodjob2:

I don't think so.

Sounds like SP was setting ib, because you had a few "symptoms" and because your body was tired and a bit numb it was harder to roll over than usual.

Even though ive never had an ld i am very familiar with sp, since i get it all the time. Id say that, that would be the beginning of sleep paralysis, if you waited longer you would slowly start to lose feeling in your body, and it would become really heavy. At about 20 minutes max you should feel nothing but a heaviness in your body, and if you try to move it will be almost impossible unless you open your eyes. Depending on the person you might get hypogenic imagery (i think thats how its speleld)
