I haven't had one in awhile, but the problem here is I don't feel like trying to wake myself up and WILD and have sleep paralysis. Is there anything I can do that will work and not require too much work?

Reality check daily, and just be aware of your sourroundings at all times. That really doesn't require much work.
Oh yea I mean if you stick to that for about a week you will start to get lucid dreams more often.
Oh alright. That's fine. I usually forget to reality check. I'll try to remember.
Well I hope you know when to reality check. What has helped me was making a list of things to reality check on.
Everytime I...
*Use the bathroom
*See a red car
*Park at home for the night
*See something flying (bird, plane, etc)
and ofcourse *Anything unusual
It can be difficult but it really has worked for me. I have actually gotten surprising results this way. The only problem is that it can often be hard to keep up with. It's just the whole idea that you remember to reality check.
Good luck :)
MILDs have been good for me...or my dream recall, at any rate. The first time I did the mantra bit before bed, I had the most vivid dream I could recall in a long time. :meditate: Second time was even better than the first. Whatever method you do, just make sure to practice all the time. Good luck!
Well wow, I've been reality checking every hour for about 5 days now. I had 2 lucid dreams last night. So wow. I'm remembering to do it every hour now, it's become a habit.
I just used my magic powers and everyone in this thread will have a lucid dream tonight I promise.
So I didn't expieriance anything but what do I expect being my first time. I did discover that I usually have three to four dreams a night, I did wake up after each one which was exactly what I wanted to do and I filled out my first dream journal. Not really weird dreams only when I turned into a bagder but then discovered I was a baby tiger was it weird.
So my dreams last night were really fuzzy how can I make it more focused?
Hey as you can see I'm new here, so take my advice however you want.
I have been eating alot of fresh fruits and fresh carrots (these are memory enhancers) and some B6 and B12 and my dreams are much easier to remember and are becoming more vivid. I have only been doing this for about a week and it seems to be working for me. It could be that I've just had such a bad diet (fast food 5+ times a week and almost zero fresh fruits/veggies).
Also hello everyone I decided to stop lurking.
The only way I really know how to make my dreams less fuzzy is if I'm lucid. If I'm not lucid then I have no control over it. Just keep at it Wishinadream, it only took me five days to become lucid so don't get frustrated and quit, its worth the effort.
Thanks silver that's good to know. I have been doing the nose test all day and checking my hands and asking myself if I am dreaming. Now how lucid can you get I mean I know it is different for everyone but how real will it look like? Oh I figured a system out to make sure that I don't do those false awakenings I put a sighn on my ceiling that says Are you dreaming? That might help for some.
Ha ha, I like that sign idea, let us know if it helps you become lucid. As for how real a dream could look like I guess it depends on how aware you are. Most of my lucids have been a little fuzzy because I want to rush through and get straight to the fun, however, I have also had about 2 lucid dreams where it looked so real I could have mistaken it for real life. What helps me make things look more real is stopping, looking around, and really taking in the detail in things. For instance, if you see a leaf on the ground then pick it up and examine it. See if you can see the veins in it.
Allright that sounds good I'll try to be more observant of my surroundings. Now have any of you had a lucid dream with another person? Like you were dreaming and your friend is there and you guys wake up and you both remember?
No I have not had any dreams with my friends but that is a very debatable subject. I think that is called sharing dreams but I'm not sure. You might want to try the Beyond Dreaming forum on here for more info on that. I'm sure someone could help you there.
I am getting closer to becoming lucid. Last night I was aware that I was floating above my physical self in my dream state. It was like a feeling of being in two places at once. It didn't last long but I am convinced if I keep at it I will surely have a full lucid dream.
Well keep at it! We'll get it soon. No lucid dream yet still trying to figure it out
