a DILD is when you go throughout the day doing reality tests (like the nose plug), and it carries over into your dreams, at which point you luck into reality checking and become lucid. A MILD is when you repeat a mantra over and over again in your head before sleeping, something like, "I will have a lucid dream," etc. This works well for me. DEILD is a bit fuzzy on my understanding, but as I see it, you wake up and fall asleep again very quickly, while just trying to "melt" into the dream you just had. I hope this helps!
