so maybe I am a little off!
Recently I set my watch to go of every hour. Just a bleep. Everytime it does I do a reality check. Then whan I go to bed when my watch goes of It ,in theory, triggers the thought I might be dreaming. The problem is I cannot here high pitched sounds very well. So I was convinced that I could not here my watch under the covers and down on my arm while I am sleeping.
So what I did was to get a big rubberband and strap the watch to my ear. :P
Nothing happened??? :shakehead2:
I still think it can work.

Bingo. The hair cells on your cochlea that detect higher pitches are probably permanently damaged. Listen to alot of loud music?
Nothing can help you fix that. (ok, inner hair cell repair is being studied I know, but I don't believe modern science & medicine has developed anything solid on it yet)
Get something that beeps or makes a noise at a frequency you can easily hear, even at relatively low volumes.
