Lucius is right, the longer ones kind of mess you up when you wake up. Sometimes, I have spent days in kind of a haze, questioning just what reality is....
When this place becomes just the dream you know its been a long while.
My dreams will collapse if I do something too off the wall usualy, the long ones I am much more bound to the laws of that place, and waking up is not an option. I need to learn from LostSoul she has very good stability in her dreams.
Nyquil is great stuff knocks you right out and if you gotta cold you can usualy say goodbye to it.
If you want to increase the length of your dreams the simplest is to sleep longer, (if you can) the longer you sleep the longer your REM cycles become.
I got that weird feeling last night. I woke up here, but I still felt like I was dreaming, I was tired of this crap I wanted to finaly wake up, I tried to force myself awake but all I succeeded in doing was give myself a headache... *mental note, do not try to wake up when you are already awake here*

of course not Rtex the ShadowNightwing would never imply such a thing
The ShadowNightwing was only making a statement.
The ShadowNightwing is your friend.
I've lost count over the number of lucid dreams I've had -- all spontaneous. However, my record is about 5 minutes and I'm lucky if I can hold it through to 1 minute.
I've had three recently right after each other that I was in for three days. I've been waking up totally exasted and sick, so I'm guessing they have been lasting the whole night.
It's like I have a second life. I've stopped trying to fly well, and just do normal things in my dreams. If I run out of milk, I find it easier to just walk down a few blocks then try to make the milk from thin air.
