I was the guy that heard them at 4.7, but Cold Fusion(i think) only saw hypnogic images at that frequency. Last time I tried, no voices.
Guess nobody was trying to contact me that day...

I hear voices at night before going to sleep anyway. seriously.
You tried it yet Paperdoll?
no, I haven't read the whole thread. don't exactly know what we're talking about here.
could any of these waves trigger ld's?
There are several presets at BWGEN.COM that claim to do that. I am experiementing with some of the deep meditation presets to try to place suggestions in my subcoucious to help increase the number of LDs.
I am also trying to create a preset of my own, but am waiting on some information about chakra's from a friend.
Keep you posted, but until then look on the BWGEN website again =)
A weird one to try is Jacob's ladder. It feels like your on a roller coaster. First 10 minutes your being lifted up the hill then all of sudden you drop down. The g force feeling is very freaky.
Jacob's ladder? Where did you get that one from?
Never mind, I found it. I didn't get a very vivid feeling, but I defintely felt some kind of pull. I feel sick now.
BWgen is really cool, it suprises me that it works so good.
I might burn one of em to a CD and loop it while I go to sleep.
See how that works.
I urge you all to try "The Awakening Mind".... its like a gallery of a whole bunch of things... I talked about iton the last page.
Hey, here are the various uses.. Its from a program called cooledit which has a brainwave syncronizer built in.
Major brainwave pattern frequencies and possible uses for
brainwave synchronization
Delta 1-3 Hz Deep sleep, lucid dreaming, increased immune
functions.
Theta 4-7 Hz Deep relaxation, meditation, increased memory
and focus.
Alpha 8-12 Hz Light relaxation, "superlearning", positive
thinking.
Beta 13-25 Hz Normal state of alertness, stress and anxiety.
Gamma 30 Hz on up Hyper-awareness
High Gamma 200+ Hz Various effects
Immediate Relaxation and Stress Relief - Choose between 5hz and 10 Hz
for different levels of relaxation.
Meditation - Choose between 4hz and 7hz, either cycle between a few, or stay
at a particular frequency for different results.
Sleep Replacement - A 30 minute session at 5Hz replaces about 2-3 hours of
sleep, allowing one to wake up in the morning more refreshed. Try listening
1/2 hour before waking up in the morning, or 1/2 hour before going to bed.
Improved Sleeping Patterns - Any of the Alpha and Theta frequencies (8Hz
to 4Hz) for 30-45 minute sessions at the same time each day.
Treatment of Insomnia - Choose between 4hz and 6hz for starters (the first
10 minutes), then go into frequencies below 3.5hz (for 20-30 minutes), settling
on about 2.5hz before fading out.
Improved and Lasting Sense of Well Being - Try Theta (4Hz to 7Hz) for 45
minutes, daily.
Creative Visualization - About 6hz for a while, then up to 10hz works well
while using visualization techniques.
Alleviation of Migraines and Headaches - Experiment with Alpha and Theta
combinations. Try and visualize the pain getting smaller and smaller until it
disappears.
Reduction of Depression Symptoms - Again, Alpha and Theta combinations,
mostly theta.
Self Hypnosis - Choose about 8hz to 10hz while playing any self-hypnosis
tape, or guided meditation.
Accelerated Learning - Choose about 7hz to 9hz while playing any learning
tapes, like foreign language tapes, etc. to increase comprehension. Also, while
studying, take breaks every half hour and listen to 10 minutes of Alpha (10Hz)
while reflecting on the material you just learned.
Subliminal Programming - Choose 5hz to 7hz while playing your favorite
subliminal tapes, or make your own by recording some affirmations, and mix
pasting (Edit:Paste Special) them from the clipboard at barely audible volumes.
Improve Intuition (or ESP?) - Theta frequencies help in this area, 4hz to 7hz.
Reaching Higher States of Consciousness - Theta again, with daily half hour
minimum sessions. Give at least a month for results.
Quick Refresher on long days - Low Alpha 8hz to 10hz for about 15 minutes
works well. Sort of induces a cat-nap.
Increased Immune System - Relaxing to Alpha and Theta combinations daily.
Learning how to relax, and relaxing more often can lower blood pressure and
increase the body's natural defenses. Using Alpha Synchronization (8Hz to
12Hz), expect similar increases in the neuro-chemical levels of Norepinephrin
(11%), Serotonin (21%) and Beta-Endorphins (25%).
Cooledit? That's the brainwave editor thing, isn't it?
There's a page with the entire bunch. It's been linked to before.
Frequencies.

I have tried the brain wave a couple of times. Everytime I try it I go blind until it is off. It makes me so mad cause I would like to be able to listen to it. But at the same time I enjoy seeing. Has this happened to anyone else?
cooledit isn't a brainwave editor, it is just a sound editor. You can edit mp3's wav's and other sound media types.Quote:

By any chance do you suffer from some form of epilepsy?
Never heard of that happening before.
nope. I have no idea why it does this, but I know it drives my boyfriend crazy because he loves listening to it but he can't when I am around. He kept trying the different sounds but they got worse.
Woah, that's really strange... The couple times I've tried it I didn't notice too much of, anything, although my hearing sounded weird right after taking the headphones off.Quote:

hmm, maybe I am just that different.
Heh yeah, I have that too, the fan of my computer either sounds like shooting laser in an old 2D VGA shooter usually when I tried BWgen... Also, I've got majorly increased hearing... I can hear my dog's nails on the floor upstairs, which I cant hear normally...Quote:

Cool edit is a recording studio thing that has the brainwave editor randomly built in... Its how i first found out about the whole brainwave thing. I used it for sleep reduction (30 mins of 5hz wave gives 2-3hrs of sleep) until i found out about lucid dreaming.
Ive only tried a few presets from the bwg site, the awakening one i only felt a tiny bit, and i also tried a lucid dream one (LD Test).
My prob is tearing off the headphones in my sleep heh.. i tried 3 times during the night. Had some very cool action dreams though.
and what makes you think I am dating you... how do I know if you are who you claim to be?Quote:
