At the moment Im just working on Lucid dreaming as thats what I have most passion for.

I have a great interest (even tho its not really PSI) in memory and I have been training my mind memory for just over a year now. I can memorize the order of a pack of cards pretty well now and quickily. It helps greatly when wanting to memorize my dreams. I use a special system which allows me to attach the dreams in boxes as I dream and when i awake, I just open them. :D

I am also working on Mentalism and Hypnosis and have tried hypnosis on a few people. They got sleepy and started getting wide eyed but didnt get far enough.

I've just gotten into Lucid Dreaming seriously, and it seems pretty easy. I'm sure I could do a few Astral Projections etc if I desired. One thing I am naturally good at is predicting future events, but only when I set my mind so it's not fogged with myself.

Can tell when traffic lights change before they do. Instead of timing it, I slow down my walking and I make it to the road exactly when it changes so I don't stop walking.
I give my mom a lottery number every week and most of the time it's on it.
If I'm really sharp I can walk to the phone before it rings, but normally can feel that it is going to ring before it does.
Stuff like that, prenatural or maybe not? :shock:

I have the power to make myself irrestible to women.

As you all should bloddy know by now i have Basic Electrokinesis, Lucid Dreaming, Astral Projection, Accidental Future Predicting. I want to learn and become very advanced in electrokinesis, learn pyrokinesis, better in lucid dreaming, better in astral projection and somehow control my futer predicting.

How do you manage to control futer predictions? My futer predictions always happen at weird times...

No. You don't suck. Just keep practicing on dream recall and lucid dreaming. Eventually you will get clearer and more frequent lucid dreams. For you it may take longer than others, but never give up. It doesn't come naturally to many people (thank goodness it does to me, lol).

It's funny how everybody seems to think that because you predict the future every once in a while, you have a gift. You make educated guesses to outcomes all the time, of course you are going to be correct once in a while. We always notice the times we are correct, and not the thousands of times that we are wrong.

I'm learning time stop in my dreams, has anyone done this? It freezes the enviroment and everything around u so you can observe the enviroment without distraction.

While that is true of most individuals, I have thought this out rather thoroughly. I am something of the calculating sort, and regularly use what information I have to predict outcomes. However, I also encounter times when I predict an outcome accurately with little to no relavent information. I have even encountered a few times when a non-instinctive, seemingly random thought has gone against my better judgement and been accurate.

If you're referring to the ability to control magnetism, I believe that the proper term would be "Magnetokinesis." If not, then what is "magnokinesis?"

I would bet that a lot of times when you predict things, it's because your subconscious mind takes in more than your conscious mind and secretly figures things out for you. Then it'll let your conscious mind know.

Of course that may not always be the case. Maybe the astral body finds useful information in the world too. I suppose we'll never know.

I found what astral projections are. Is it dangerous? What if the mind completely leaves the body and you have no choice but to wander around the world as a ghost and you are locked out forever?

Astral Projection is NOT dangerous. You can't die or something. And, most people excuse telekinesis and other abilities for simple magic tricks. But if you need help with astral projection or pyrokinesis or something, IM me.

I saw these auras things. What does it mean? I read this article about the colors and their meanings, but what if it's multicolored? I see like red on the outside, then yellow, then green, then this dark form of blue all at once. Looking up, I see a bright green ball onj my head, then it turns yellow. Why can't it just be one color!!!!!!!!

Well, you heard wrong. Posibly your thinking of pyrokinesis? Look at http://www.psipog.net/articles.php?cat=301. Telekinesis is a more well known name for psychokinesis, but the truth is, they both are the same thing, moving an object with the mind. What is it that you thought of what it is?

That windmakers site is pretty good but if you read through it all, it's sort of messed up. There's all these meridians and sayings that I need energy shields and spears to fight off evil aliens from outer space trying to invade our planet. Then it talks about the 5 sources and how they can heal people (that might be true)

I don't like wingmakers that much, I like psipog a lot better. It's seems a lot easier to read and such.

Wingmakers also makes it seem so .......spiritual and suff.....

Wingmakers also takes a lot of thier imformation from other sites, thier not original. Psipog has many of thier own techs, but Wingmakers has a lot of imformation... but a lot of it is bullshit.

Could someone please post an example of using these abilities in waking life and the evidence there was to proove that it did happen?
I looked into aura spotting a few years back and even got as far as thinking i was actually looking at the auras but the visuals could just as easily have been an illusion and things ive read and seen since then seem to confirm this.
There is a glow but did you know that you can never keep your eyes completely still no matter how much you try so the glow is most likely just the after image caused by your eyes consistantly flicking.
Anyway i am curious so please share your results and prrof, even just somthing someone else said like 'woah did you just read my mind" or " i think some energy just escaped me"

I'm trying it but all I see is green on everyone. I don't think this aura thing works. It's always red, yellow, and ggreen mixed but green mostly

no, telekinesis is controlling only inatimate objects and is a subform of psychokinesis and supposedly those who have mastered all of psychokinesis can control other people and animals.

I'm trying to teach myself mind control, there is nothing on the web. Remember, the spirit is stronger then the mind.

Could someone read my mind, do an empathy thingie on me, or enter one of my dreams tonight, or just...SOMETHING to me? I would like to escape known reality for a while and think about this stuff...Would this be possible, or is physical confrontation necessary? I know an open mind is at least partially necessary, and yeah I've got that...

My next lucid dream I'll try to get into your dream, but I usaly need to know what the person looks like...

one thing to say:
If you want to attempt learning something new, try to do it with many other people, concentrating on one thing. More energy will be put into it and your body will become accostumed to any new changes.

And yes, on a sidenote: Telekinesis and Phycokinesis are the same thing.
Phsychokinesis is not the controlling of animals and living things, no.
That would be mind-control and biokinesis (depending on what your trying to attempt)

They claim they can do them in real life. If any of you actually have some videos of your telekinetic/levitation/pyrokinetic/hydrokinetic/etc. abilities, then by all means post them. I'm tired of people saying they can do all these amazing things, but nobody in the history of the world is yet to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. A simple lab experiment would do fine, but god forbid somebody (out of the millions) actually goes for it, and proves to the world that what they are experiencing isn't just a product of their own mind. Believe me, I'm open minded to what could be considered possible, but there's a differencing between believing something and being open to the possibility of such a belief. If somebody can prove it to me, or at least give some solid evidence, then I'll believe it.

Yeah, I'd be rich and famous if I could do some of this stuff =)

And if you guys are interested, i know a guy on the internet that has videos of antigrav things, as well as government reports of what he does and such. He cant do it with his body, but he built a machine that gives off alternating magnetic waves, and causes so many weird things to happen, even where things like straw and steel can fuse... yeah, thats pretty weird. He's well known in the physics community, and i suggest you look him up on the net.

What he does is called the "Hutchison effect" search that (no quotes) and you'll get plenty of pages describing the gyrokinetic potential of his machines!

Telepathy - Sometimes when I feel in a fully concious train of thought I can preddict what people are going to say. Sometimes I don't even know they will say it, yet I think it in my mind and someone says it. Especially right after I do meditation or smoke weed.

Heightened Senses - With concentration I can hear sounds and react to things before they even happen. The problem when I do this though is I find it hard to focus on the simplistic things like a conversation. When meditating or doing tai chi I can feel the enviroment around me, and although I cannot prove I can control the wind around me, I can defiantely feel the weight of my limbs pushing through it tensing up my body to a point where I am much much stronger then normal. Awareness is the key.

Aura Detection - I've noticed when others or myself are in different moods, I can either feel, see or sense people with certain similar feelings. And most of the time I am correct, the only times when I am wrong is when I'm either self concious or am being too imaginative.


Sure I would like to believe I can create psi/ki balls and such, but there just isn't a way to prove it in physical body. But who knows, maybe by naturally changing a few chromozones we can unlock a vaster potential. Wisdom normally brings this, so instead of trying so hard to obtain it, try a different approach with a different perspective and you might find something out yourself. Can't wait for technology on this, anyone want to help in making a Lucid Dreaming network? :lol:

To see ki balls, you have to "open" your third eye, and, I really don't know how to see psi balls :-(.

Why are you lying about having these Psi abilities? Shouldn't this be under Role Playing or Wishful thinking?

There is no empirical data or proof of the manipulation of atoms, any quantum matter, etc. Otherwise, we would be a much different society or, at least, would have older people proclaiming these abilities rather than teens all the time.

What are you talking about??? The US Governement did experiments with Remote Viewing. Which at one time was considered a silly, unreal psi ability. They've also done it with other psi abilities. Their problem was they didn't consider any of them reliable because people could not consistently produce them. Or do them at will every time.

I don't doubt that some people may embellish their skills a little, but I know many who do not.

I'm tired of getting stuck with the burden of proof. You both prove to me with concrete solid facts, that they do not exist! HA!!

Calm down - it's quite simple.

It is scientifcally proven we don't float in air because of gravity.
It is scientifcally proven (or currently stands) that you can't make things move without an applied force because that would violate the scientific laws of, well, forces.

I think that's fixed that. :P

I've had AP's since I was six years old. Do not tell me that I can't float out of body because of gravity!! And if I can float out of body why can't an object float if it is energetically held up?

I can also move while out of body...so?

Just because science can't prove it, doesn't mean it can't disprove it. And if the law of gravity applies, than does it not apply for everything?? Including OBE's? And those ARE scientifically proven and induced. But of course there is probably some exception that I'm just ignorant of so please enlighten me.

So if you live out of scientifically proven facts, pretell what do you live for?

I can tell you're getting pretty pissed, though it escapes me why, I think it'll be better for the general health of this forum if I don't give you some more skeptic reasoning for now. If you like, we can discuss this over PM. Same goes for everything. :D

The government has been studying all this for years. Do you really think the government would tell everybody about this? No.
There are many older people claiming they have these abilities. The reason there are more teens, is because teens are not as socialy developed yet, and have not completly tossed the paranormal as a myth. Many have, but a lot have not. People exuse tk as "just the wind". Even when they see a psi weel being spun under a glass of water, the excuse it as a myth. Then there is the thing about your hand "attracting and pulling" the psi weel because of some stupid "scientific" reason. If it is that, why can a turn, stop and begin at my own will?

I still doubt most or any of the skeptics on this forum have tried any of this. Your not putting up a good argument if you have not tried all this stuff yourself. Try it, and if it does'nt happen, hey, at least you got a reason to think its fake right? Even though tk can take a year to develope...

Trust me, I've tried all this stuff. Didn't work. I'm not spending a year of my life to do something when all the evidence points that it isn't there anyway (for telekinesis).

LOL! I checked out the second link, and the first video on there was a guy "moving" a melting ice cube. Did that guy actually think he was moving it or is he just trying to trick anyone gullible enough to believe him? Obviously the liquid water being released from the melting cube seeps under it, causing the cube to float up and move around a little. I watched a couple of other vids too, but they could have been easily fake as you could only see a close up shot of the guy's hand(s), and anything (strings, wind, other people) could have been outside the camera's view, manipulating things. So, I guess it's going to take more than home videos to prove that these mind abilities are for real, for me at least. Also, that ice cube guy is a good example of how you can be convinced that you have mind powers, but still not have them (though I seriously doubt he wasn't just out to trick science class flunkies :roll: ).

Also, I do believe in psionic abilities and believe to possess some myself. However, some abilities being protested are so blatantly embellished it is not funny. I believe in the possibilitiy of any of these abilities but when considering the rebuttles and the descriptions of methods in order to produce these psionic results seem very familiar to several science fiction texts (nearly verbatim).

I remember having a debate with someone (I spent most of the time laughing) who thought that Goku (yes, Dragonball Z Goku) could defeat God (be whichever supernatual being in whichever religion - the omnipresent creatore of everything). I have to say, that was hillarious. These type of people are always the ones I hear proclaiming how they can create psi-balls and psionic aura's "if you scream loud enough" etc. etc.

I moved a psi-wheel once, and i'm not even sure if it was really my mind doing it cause when i wanted it to stop it just kept on going. I even held my breath and it kept going... then i just payed no attention to it and it eventually stopped.

Ive also had 2 lucid dreams and pretty good dream recall.

Out of a deck of 52 cards i can guess what card i pick out and about 4 times ill be right (about the number and not the colour, although i have got them both before).

Also, when i was 10, my dog ran away and i took my bike to go find him and as i was riding i felt worried and then all of a sudden the worriedness turned into relief. This feeling stayed and i rode to my friends house and my mom was there with the dog. She said she found him about the same time i felt relief.

Just a few things like that are what I do sometimes.

I hope to become better at lucid dreaming and possibly go into astral projection some time soon... From there, who knows! maybe ill work on memory.

With weed in my system (i must have good THC neurotransmitters in my brains) i can do telepathy. But its sending oriented, so people will hear me while its hard for me to hear others. Been able to have dialogue only few times that way. And i can do it to that degree that i generate some song in my head, and the other one instantly knows what song it is. This issue has also brought lot of fear with it, something im still working on. But in the end im glad its all happening, and im sure it has a meaning and a lesson for me to be learned.

Is predicting the future through dreams a special power?

Cause I've had visions that have come true later on in reality, one just recently. :shock:

I have a stressful sense of intuition. I'll do things like think about a car accident, slow down and back away from the person in front of me, then look to the left and see a fender-bender (which really did happen.) Same thing I saw someone get caught by a biker cop right after it occured to me to slow down. I usually know when people are about to show up at the door, call, etc. I just get a weird anticipation of something happening. Sometimes it's cool, other times it's cause I'm going to screw up in school and, sure enough, late for a quiz I forgot about (happened the other day.)
I used to dream stuff when I was younger, but not really anymore. There is the occasional apocalyptic dream, like one I had about an Iraqi and myself hiding under a bridge, loud noises all around, before Bush went to war there.

For your information, I was kidding. I was just making fun of the fact that people are just so non-chalantly (spelling?) listing all of their "psychic" abilities. I'm sorry if I offended anyone with this post, I was just trying to be funny.

Personally, I don't really believe that anyone has dozens of psychic abilities as some of them claim, but I am trying to keep an open mind on it. I just think that if anyone had that many abilities someone would know about it. The word sceptic is actually very misunderstood, and IMO has come to mean 'an irrationally unobjective person who belligerently doesn't want to explore the possibilities of something that seems unlikely'

I have healing psi abilities too.

I buy them in boxes at Wal-Mart and they're called Band-aids. They seem to work subtly and over time as well.

Sorry but i really dont think theres anyway anybody can prove any of the abilities they claim to have. I'm not trying to make an argument about whether you actual possess said abilities, but only the ease in which it could be faked on film. It wouldnt be too hard to tape yourself staring at a piece of paper, then pausing the tape, putting a match to it, then taping again, and then claiming it was your 'pyrokinesis' :mad: :mad: :mad: . As I said before, I'm not attacking anybody, just saying that, in my opinion, to really prove this to someone it would require a personal demonstration.

First off, many psi abilities are limited, and the government doesn;t find people who can spin psi wheels and roll pencils any kind of treat. I know one person who can perform abilities that can be considered a treat. He stays away from public atention...

I don't understand why all of the skeptics that haven't tried kinesis are telling us we have to prove to them that it's real. If they choose not to believe, that doesn't mean we have to make them believe.

Isn't telekinesis considered a force put upon objects that makes them move? If objects don't move without force, what's to say that we aren't applying force on the objects(supernatural force)?

If I'm undertanding you right (You might try going to a few High School English classes and coming back), you're saying that since there's no other apparent force acting upon <insert object here>, it can be ascribed to your tele-whatsit powers. Correct me if I'm wrong. Correct your grammar while you're at it.

The problem with that is that there are other forces to be taken into consideration. Thermal currents, magnetic fields, vibrations, things you wouldn't normally think of as having a real effect. But, since we're talking on an incredibly small scale (Unless one of you can suddenly step up to moving cars instead of toothpics. Heck, even matchbox cars.), incredibly small forces matter. We've been talking about such things through this whole thread (and half the other threads on this board), don't know how you could miss them...

EDIT: Also, just a note, if you can't control these 'abilities', how do you know it's you that's causing them? I've had winds come out of nowhere to gust at 50 mph around me, but I don't attribute it to aerokinisis or whatever.

The only real proof you could get is if someone came to your house and did these things in frount of you, or you did them yourself. I wouldn't consider anything else proof, like videos and pictures.

Brady - if that was you - that's great.
You're at a slightly dangerous stage, because on the one hand you need to make sure that you're not fooling yourself - just like we all had to check.
On the other end, you need to avoid too many doubts and questions and analysis - they really do make it harder to concentrate

The guy named 'Float' (who I know quite well now, I trust him somewhat) has an article he's busy putting together.
He gave me the preliminary file, but obviously I can't go posting it all over the place.

The main reason I trust him, is because I has spoken to him for quite a while now, and initially interrogated him. And his answers seem to tie up very close to what's happening with me.

I also find that concentrating (in the way we understand it anyway) only makes it harder
You need to actually try 'fuzz out' your conscious thoughts, and just keep in mind your intention. Nothing else.

One theory is that field effects from the body overlap and cause an thing similar to hutchison effect (http://www.hutchisoneffect.com)
I haven't decided on any particular theory because I honestly have no idea
But if you watch the hutchison video's and listen to what he does, it looks just like the TK effects we see on videos (incl. my own) - only on steroids

Apparently they can levitate cannon balls with 75 watts :shock:

Ok. I would like to bring something up here.

Abilities like telepathy, telekinesis, astral projection, I can see how these mind be physically possible. Im not sure how exactly, but I am open minded to they're existance because they are scientifically plausable. However, I seriously wonder about some of the other abilities people claim to have. Controlling the weather, gyrokinesis, psi balls, teleportation for gods sake.

To claim to have these abilities completely contradicts science and logic. Just take controlling the weather for example. When it rains outside, its not just raining for no reason, there are huge global weather patterns at work. The weather isn't just something that you can just turn on and off with a switch, or with a telepathic ability. To change the weather you would have to use your mind to heat and cool entire portions of earths atmosphere to make convection currents bringing in different air masses. Not to mention you wouldn't know where any of the air masses were, and this would take forever.

And don't let me forget teleportation. Somebody explain to me, how, with your mind, you are going to physically and instentanously transport yourself to another place. Its just not possible. All psycic stuff aside, its just not physically possible according to all modern science.

Again, im not saying anything about the rest of the psycic abilities, im just saying try to keep some of the stuff you do make up to a more reasonable level.

Please, correct me if anything I say is wrong.

The way I understand it, all matter is made up of the same components, and these components when broken down to a subatomic level can be described simply as energy that has vibrated itself into harmony with other enerergies and made itself solid. If you can see how abilities like tk or ap are possibly possible then why doesn't teleportation seem a likely avenue? When a being has conciousness and "matter" can actually discern what it is doing from one moment to the next, why does it seem so far fetched that this "matter" may find a way to manipulate the matter around it. The levels of complexity that matter has molded itself through all the way from its most basic forms to its more complex have taught it basic ways to manipulate the world (i.e. touch) but as this conciousness that atoms have developed has learned more about its environment it has learned that there are more forces at play in this world.

Imagine a 2 dimensional world and imagine a man that lives in this world. Let's call it flat land for easy reference. This man that lives in flat land has four directions to choose from: up, down, left, and right. He lives in a house that in order for it to be a solid structure can only have one door on one side of it, since if there were 2 the house would collapse, and in order to go to the other side of the house he would have to climb over it. If you can truly imagine what it would be like to live in flat land, then you can understand how there is nothing to lead you to believe that there is an alternate direction available by simply "going around the house." Apply this to our world, it's very hard to imagine an alternate direction for us to go, because we have lived in this world for so long.

As organisms were developing, how was a creature able to know that these objects that it comes into contact each day could actually be observed by collecting the light that they reflect? How could an organism realize that light existed at all? It had to slowly come to the realization that these things were possible. It's very likely that there are many things out there that human perception has not found the ability to percieve thus far, and ignoring the possibilities of what could be is just as blinding as putting your own eyes out.

Teleportation is possible...but not really in the way most people think about it. Basically the properties of an atom are "tranferred" to another atom that is a certain distance away, essentially making an exact copy of it.

That's what I was going to say, Brady. But with the technology we have now, it would be impossible to teleport a person. Hell, it's impossible to teleport a grain of sand. As far as I know, all we've succeeded with is individual atoms and photons. Controlling it with your mind is equally impossible.

I agree completely. We are all just humans, living in a world in which we define our own reality. I accept completely there are things that we cannot understand or detect, it would be stupid to assume that only the things we see are the things that exist. And I guess, that probably, with some crazy string theory loophole in the fabric of space time, teleportation might be possible. But, I just can't bring myself to believe that anybody on this website can do it. I don't believe that anybody can do it. I just cannot, with a good mind, believe that anybody has that sort of power purely through the will of their mind. The physics that are involved are hardly comprehendable, much less usable through technology or psycicly. Truthfully, anyone that could teleport themselves would be the most powerful person on the planet. Just think of all the things you could use it for. If you were able to teleport, you would not be posting on this website.

Anyway, my view is that telekinesis and telepathy are wierd and crazy enough already. We have NO solid basis to believe in them - in theory. As such, I can only sympathise with views from the scientific community.
When I manage to actually DO telekinesis .... I end up without a logical explanation and plain awe.

As such, until I have a reason to actually believe in something amazing, like electrokinesis, personal psionic teleportation, etc etc... I'll label them as bulltwang until proven otherwise

Of course, trouble with things like telekinesis is that one usually wants to feel convinced in it's existence PRIOR to practicing for a month to achieve it. That just isn't possible at this stage. The alternative is a tough one, because I'm sure as hell not going to waste a month for each 'ability' like gyrokinesis, electrokinesis, bloody burgerkinesis - they never end. Add a 'kinesis' to the end, and you have a new amazing ability perfectly fit for DBZ.

Imagine wasting years disproving each one - bleh. Of course this doesn't prevent some from trying, but how do you disprove something that doesn't exist?

I agree completely, espescially with the DBZ thing. It really does seem that people are just taking latin words and adding kinesis's to them. A lot of the stuff i read on this forum I dont believe partly because of the triviality that is shown when talking about these things. Anyone that is telepathic, or telekinetic, etc., has an amazing gift, someone like that could break human and scientific boundries never before thought of. These are not Dungeons and Dragons feats. You can not grow a level and have access to them. These are not just trivial 'abilities' that anybody can just aquire with a little effort. That is, assuming they exist at all. As I have said before, I can see how it might be possible for these things to exist, but it is highly unlikely, and until there is some proof I, personally, will not believe it. As for the brain thing, I have heard that we only use like 1/2 or 1/3 (not 10%) of our brains, but that still offers no reason why anybody should be able to teleport. I agree that human beings might be able to do some amazing things if we utilized the rest of our brains, but as to what that would be I dont know. And I somehow doubt it has anything to do with teleportation. And since there is no proof that anybody can actually move objects with their minds, its a little dumb to make that as a point.

So, are we just supposed to assume all these "kineses" are pure bunk?

What would make you believe in them? Witnessing them for yourself? Experiencing them for yourself? Developing the abilities for yourself? Since there are few published authoritative works on these topics, one must base belief in these on experience alone. So I believe that one should not take an attitude that these abilities are all impossible... because anything is possible. As LDers and aspiring LDers, belief in and aceptance of the impossible is what keeps us dreaming.

But to put in my two cents, I don't know what the consensus is on electrokinesis but I can say for sure I have experienced it first hand. I am merely a novice in this ability but a friend of mine is very advanced. He has shown me energy phenomenae created with his own two hands that I'm not even going to get into... you can pm if you want to hear about that... Anyway, I can vouch for electrokinesis. Furthermore, Eastern science has working with energy in the body and the electromagnetic merdian system with in the body for centuries--accupressure, accupuncture, chakra healing and cleansing... the list goes on.

Makes you wonder what would happen if Eastern and Western medicine were merged into one. Would this even be possible? Would one cancel out the other? Is the electromagnetic merdian system still readily accesible in our western bodies since it has never been tapped into? Could Western doctors even be trained to do this? Has anyone ever had a doctor who attempted to do this?

I'm skeptical because as much as I would like to, im not just blindly going to accept these things without some kind of proof. That would just be setting myself up for dissapointment. I can lucid dream (or rather, always seem to lucid dream!)

I am reasonably sure that I have had an OBE and I think that I may be travelling astrally at times, I have had a few pregognitive dreams and even a 'vision', but I have never made anything move or told anyone's fortune or anything non-subjective.

It's all a perceptual thing. I am not sure that we all share the same distinct reality, but I know what rules work in my universe and pretty much try to conform.

I don't mean to sound like a complete idiot, but unfortunately I am. Are we talking about psychic abilities in real life or lucid dreams? If it's real life then I think I can mind-read and predict the future occasionally. :shock: Usually what happens is something tells me that something will happen. For example I'll be thinking about a friend and I'll suddenly think they're going to move. (didn't really happen just an example) Then I'll think not about the actual moving but the effect it will have. If I can imagine them not being there and it seems to go with the flow of life then it will happen. Otherwise it won't, but usually when I have a random thought like that I check it by imagining both results. Creepy thing is it almost always is true.

The mind reading technique isn't too special. Once in a while I'll get a sudden flash of what someone is thinking. It will just occur to me and I know they're thinking it. Then if I say it they say, I was just thinking that!

I don't have very much control over either talent, but sometimes I can predict the future by using the checking technique which isn't as accurate. Example: I want to know how long a couple will last. I imagine them going out for a long time and a short time. The one I can see easier is the right one. Unfortunately, I can't see things that are really important to me like if I will go out with my crush because I am too emotionally involved. I can't step back and let it pull me into the right direction because I want so badly for it to happen. I'd like to improve both of these talents if I can. I know it would be extremely useful right now. How could I improve these talents?

This is an interesting thread. Its a bit on the long side, so I'm going to have to skip to the end but still, I'll play along...

I don't have any of things you guys were talking about accept good old human intuition. (6th sense?)

It's pretty much average I guess except when it pertains to one specific person. Several years ago when we spent a lot of time together I would often have feelings about that person so intense that it made me feel sick to my stomach. (Maybe that's where "gut feeling" comes from?) You always hear people saying they would think of someone and then they would call 10 seconds later. Well that was an understatment. In fact it happened almost daily. I haven't seen this person in years but I still fall into periods where thoughts of them are so intense they make me feel nauseous. This person has also been present in my dreams more than any other single person. Still to this day I dream of him more then the people I see daily. Just two days ago I had a dream he was about to tell me something only I woke up before I found out what it was. Yesterday and today I haven't been able to get it out of my mind and just an hour ago I received news about him. I don't know if there is a connection. I often wondered if he is remembering me during these times when thoughts of him are intense.


I have no idea what it is or why it's intensified toward one person. It may not be anything unordinary but I'll tell you, when the feeling is so strong it's like being hit by a truck, it sure does seem like something. I have tried to find literature about it years ago, when I first noticed it, but never had any luck.

Whether I believe in these powers is irrellavant. However since many of you, according to this thread, CAN perform a lot of these abilities, I would like you to consider taking up James Randi's challenge. You could use the money or donate it to help develop this new field of science (or whatever it would be considered). It would be to everyone's benefit, especially those that believe in these powers.

I agree with Merck. Well, other than you'd better expect that I'm going to be outspoken about MY viewpoint.

If you can't give evidence for why you believe these things, why do you? I won't make fun of your beliefs--only question the logic behind them. If you can conclusively prove that these things exist, then I'll believe you. Hell, if you even put up a half-arsed argument, I'll consider it. But nobody here's really tried...They've just given the same excuse, one by one, that they'll just believe it themselves because they don't need to prove it to anyone. The fact is, science has been obscured by religion for centuries--and now the tables are turned. The only way that science triumphed was by provided tangible evidence that their beliefs were true. Whether religion (and witchcraft or whatever else you want to call it) is true or not, it's got a lot to explain if it wants to once again recieve the popular vote.

So, once again, I'm asking you all to own up. You believe in this, now tell us why. We've heard the "You don't have to believe it" before, so if that's all you've got to say, don't post.

Let me re-iterate my views. I believe in it, because of my personal anecdotal experience with it. As such, it is entirely subjective and unsuitable to be presented as any sort of evidence to you guys.
Hence I cannot prove it to you at this stage, and have no issue with somebody considering it to be rubbish.

When I CAN conclusively demonstrate it on a level that will result in verifiable evidence, then I will become louder :P

I just wanted 2 say i agree w/Tsen, LD can be achieved by anyone even if they dun' have "special powers" or whatever ur guys' special names are for it....'cause i can do it! & believe me.... there is nothing 2 "special powered" about me.

Don't hold your breath...

The reason most people believe in psi (or believe that they have psi abilities) is to compensate for other areas that may be lacking...whether that be socially, mentally or physically.

They grow up watching/reading sci-fi tales, become fascinated with the genre, begin fantasizing about having related abilities (often times resorting to role playing) and then one day they have fully convinced themselves that they indeed possess such power.

And if you are wondering how I know this...well just consider me psychic. :roll:

wow... I don't know like half those abilities. Anyhow... I doubt some of the Psis there are... like teleportation, healing, and stuff... it just seems to advanced for me to believe, way out of my league, and I'd need proof... but anyhow... I guess you could say here's mine:

not at will though, but I can do that... but is that really a psi ability?

Sort of Accurate Guesses/Predictions
sometimes I manage to predict right... other times I just suck... but it sometimes depends... like one time I was playing that cup game where you hide a coin under a cup... even though we weren't using cups and coins... we were using something else... and my friend wasn't just hiding it and moving the "cups" around it was more of us going to a room and her hiding it... then we had to guess... and I managed to get... um 3-5 in a row correct with there being 3 "cups". Also good at predicting the coin flip sometimes. I just get this strong feeling and therefore my predictions I suppose are somewhat like 60% accurate... they can't be too far into the future of course... and it's more of guessing rather than predicting... hey it's probably luck

Empathy
I definetely have this one... I feel exactly what another person feels... and sometimes I put myself in rough situation... like... asking myself... what would happen if this happens... and then thinking about it so deeply that I fall into my imagination... doesn't sound like empathy... but if I do the exact same thing while being with another person I can feel what they feel... putting myself in their shoes.

Here are the abilities that would be cool for me to have:

-Telepathy
-Dream Sharing


I don't really want to focus on that too much... so having those abilities would be enough for me... even though if I could get more then that'd be fine too

That's funny... because I started almost in the exact same shoes as you are in right now. I went to paranormal message boards and flammed everyone for being delusional and mentally unstable. Then one day I actually decided to try some exercises for the hell of it... mainly out of boredom... and now I'm here. It's crazy until you see yourself do it with your own eyes. Then it's mind blowing.

Well then we must have crossed paths at some point, because I used to be near the point you are as well. I mean there was a point (as an adolescence) that I desired to have some sort of psi ability, but then we grow up and learn that fantasies such as those are just that...fantasies.

after reading this and other things last night, i decided to try out that psi-ball thing. when i went through the whole process of imagining energy going through my fingers and crap, i saw a red ball! Then, this morning, I read that if you throw the ball at someone, they will feel it. I tried it on my little brother :P and he said he felt water.

edit: nvm he was just joking around, this psi-crap is b.s.

I was testing out my telekinesis and I was able to make my car float around for a bit. But then there was a crime so I had to go to the Bat Cave!!

Out of interest, lucid dreaming was considered a kooky paranormal topic prior to the work done by pioneers like Stephen Laberge ;)

So in a sense.. it WAS a paranormal ability :P

In dreams, adrenaline automatically increases time resolution (making time seem slower while fitting more conscious awareness per actual unit of time). This is why people are endlessly complaining that they are moving slowly. It only 'seems' that they are moving slowly. In all of these instances, we can suspect that adrenaline had some role.

Now, in waking life, we may not consciously perceive this Time Slow Down, but in an adrenaline rush, the body does gear down to this Increased Awareneness Perception. In flight or fight situations, adrenaline improves performance. I myself have been in several motorcycle accidents, which triggered adrenaline rushes. To me they went by in a blur, with me coming to be aware only after I found myself running down the street some twenty meters ahead of the accident. Witnesses told me that I jumped from the bike at the last moment before impact, twirled and twisted through the air to land in a roll which I bouned up from in a run as soon as my forward momentum was slow enough for my legs to handle the speed. Now, that is not something that anybody can practice. And it happened too quickly for anybody to reasonably be able to think about what they were doing. It follows that the adrenaline was able to kick my mind into a different temporal gear.

And for all of you non believers out their, it wont work if you doubt yourself. your subconcince is what controls psi. Ive heard som1 earlier in this post say that they were able to lift a toothpick in water, but when they tried it didnt work and when they relaxed it worked. that is because you have to let your subconcience have control and let it use all of your brain. meditating always clears your mind and helps before trying anything

to answer the post, my current abilities is intermediate electrokinesis (i am hearing poping noises and can disrupt tv signals a little) and beginner psi (can move psi wheels). I realy just want to get these down pat before thinking of doing anything else butif i were gonna do somthing else it would be telekinesis. and by the way ive only been starting this stuff in the past 4 mabe 5 days!

My nonbelief has nothing to do with doubting myself. I doubt the theory. Nobody has yet to explain how this 'psi' thing works using valid experiments. But you've already heard all I have to say on this subject, (or, if you havent, scroll back to the beginning and re-read the thread.) so have fun with that.

True that is! It would seem that if people try to watch my friend & I play telephone or make a guess in a lottery or card game, we stop dead, b/c we cannot concentrate while people are watching us...& I have stagefright.

I'm completely new to Psionics, aswell as LD:s, and I saw that site named Psipog that someone mentioned. I tried the exercise where you're supposed to collect Psi in your abdomen, honestly I didn't think it would actually work, but it did! I got this strange tickly/warm sensation within my abdomen and it comes up almost every time I do the exercise. Really cool :D I also managed to move it over to my arms, but I'm not sure if I managed to create a Psi ball. But I'm still very skeptical to this whole idea, but I'm gonna explore further and see what happens.

I have to say that I believe everything in the universe is linked together. Matter and energy are the same thing, but in different forms. Like an ice and water, same substance different form. Thought is just another form of energy which can alter surrounding energies, therefor Telekinesis is possible. I have no idea about all the other kinesises though. These are only my beliefs though, please do not let the flame get too hot.

P.S I was on another forum and someone mentioned the 10% of your brain myth. One of the replys stated "Have someone cut off 90% of your brain and see how well you do". I have to say, posting such trash is just, for lack of another word, stupid. The brain uses every PART but not all the POWER. Like pushing the pedal of a car down halfway, it uses all the parts, but not all the power.

You're struggling with telekinesis, but you want to learn electro-, pyro-kinesis .. as well as levitation?

How do you intend to levitate without telekinesis?
