Why do you want to lucid dream?
I want to lucid dream because the mind always fascinated me massively, i could stay up for hours as a child and try to figure out how the brain works. Eventually i gave up on that because even child-me realized it was a subject way out of my league. I was still interested however, and as i have had lucid dreams since i was like 10yo i have some floor to stand on as i start my climb. I want to be able to experience my own mind, both the conscious and the unconscious. Also, being able to control your own dreams is pretty damn cool :cooler:

Will start practicing ADA http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...kingyoshi.html
Planning on posting results here.
ADA practice: 5 minutes of hardcore awareness every 2 hours. Will eventually ramp it up.
Edit: New ADA practice. Will try to be aware of my breathing ALL the time, it it gets too hard i will quit.

It seems that for me, the natural time to go to bed is around 11.00 PM to 12.00 PM, i'm going to try to pinpoint this though. I usually wake after 6-7 hours of sleep naturally, but go back to bed for 1-3 hours after that.

I tried to get a lucid dream tonight, no luck. Some of my dreams are not even in a humans perspective, which is weird. I did have 2 dreams tonight where i could have achieved lucidity however, but i guess i just dont reality check often enough. Will try to improve my rate of RC's to around 20 every day. Also raising general awareness.
Edit: On weekends, will try to include WBTB into my usual DILD method.

Had 2 lucid dreams tonight, they weren't any good but i got to try a few tricks/ techniques.
I remembered that i had homework trying to stabilize a dream, i tried, and failed. I looked at my hands, and i spinned. It lasted a little longer but i eventually woke up because my heart was racing of excitement.
In the other dream i was only lucid at the start of the dream :(
-
It seems i only get lucid in a dream, after i wake up from my first dream. This means they are very unstable and short :/
I will have to be more aware, so i can get lucid in the ''main'' dreams as well.

Not bad at all. You seem to have an easy time inducing lds. :D Don't worry, with more practice they will get longer and be more stable. It helps to have a few goals of things to do in advance. I recommend checking out the montly tasks:

OMG man, i just came back from the mast amazing LD, EVERRERRGYIASDPAUIDHPASUIOD. It was sick. Was a mix of DEILD, DILD and WBTB. I will be posting the dream journal here so you can read it (if you want). I just have to write it first. I tried many of the techniques for good, and it actually lasted very long.

Here is the dream.

I'm pretty sure i had a task to try to stabilize my dream, and so i have done. Here is how it played out.
I am atop a mountain, i had just gotten into the dream, and so i start by looking at my hands. They look much better than expected, after some closer inspection however, they are far from perfect. The top joint is very short, and my thumbs are just weird. I didnt see many of the details, and even though they look much better then expected, it was still pretty funny. I tried the ''MORE LUCID'' mantra, but i was focused on my hands, so it didn't really work out well. I try to create a physical anchor inside my dream, and bind myself to it. I wake up abruptly however, may be because i was getting excited over trying my new idea. It doesn't take long before i fall asleep and enter the same dream however.
Edit: I forgot about it, but i had a dream controll task to crate something by expecting it to be there. Thats what i did with the anchor. I turned around, and fully expected an anchor to be behind. When i turned around, there it was :D

Fantastic! Congratulations on the ld chains! If you woke up after the dream and then reentered that's a indeed a DEILD! :)
