Need a little help before tonight.

So, i CAN WILD but the SP stage is so uncomfortable that i just don't want to put myself through 10 minutes in hell for a dream. I know your body will test to see if your brain is awake. but im having problems with it being such a violent urge to move my legs that i can't hold my ground. so i was wondering if anyone would be able to help me. I was wondering if anyone knew of a food or drink No meds or chemicals, im talking like chocolate or coke ext... that could make this SP stage go easier for me. it would be very appreciated thank you. :)

Mind over matter techniques like telling yourself that none of whats going on is real help. I've even heard of people picturing a white light during the SP phase. Also, the effects of SP can be controlled to a limited degree so it's not as a burden. Personally I start thinking about my dream goals or trying to visualize the scene during that moment. Taking my mind off of whats going on tends to help.

Just keep your mind moving. Relax a little by imagining you standing on a mountain by a stream of water or imagine another relaxing thing. You just got to keep your mind busy.

Think of it as opportunity to strengthen your will, and be glad for the opportunity. Your perspective on the discomfort will greatly effect its severity. If you want some suggestions for something to take internally for assistance, I would recommend some gentle nervine herbs that are entirely safe for everybody to take for extended periods of time. Skullcap is a great one, you can make infusion preferably, or just pick up tincture (simpler) from your local health food store or herb shop. Other options are Mugwort, Motherwort, Hops or even Passionflower. If you need something stronger, you can try Kava Kava, but you don't want to take that daily for more than a few weeks, a month MAX or it will tax your liver. Happy Dreaming . . .
