¿Was this my first WILD?
Helly everyone!
I just tried to do Yoshi's WILD technic. I am "new" to LD's (I have studied the concept for quite a long time now, but never had time to practice, and now Im practicing as mutch as I can, I have been doing so for a week more or less).
I still have problems with remembering my dreams, but here is what happened to me:
I was doing the WILD induction and after a while I started to feel an overwhelming sensation, It was pleasurable, but It was like if everithing arround me was really fast, and I started to move my eyes fast too (still no images, everything black, but many thoughts coming to my mind really fast).
I felt like I never had when going to have a nap hehe... I think I got over excited and just came back to pre-WILD phase.
Is somewhat like that how u feel when you are about to start a WILD guys? Am I near?
Thankyou!

You're definitely close! The fast movement of your eyes is an indication of REM (rapid eye movement) which means you're close to sleep paralysis. The feeling of whirring or movement is also an indication of SP. Try to passively pay attention to what's around you and not focus too much on it. Keep relaxing into the SP and visualize a scene around you, imagining tactile, auditory, and other sensations. It can speed the transition process up.

Very close indeed, when in sleep paralysis you may experience rapid eye movement, hypnogogic imagery, vibrations, warmth, etc. These are all signs that you are incredibly close to dreaming and are ready to make that final leap. If you need help with anything else feel free to ask.

Hehe I also felt the warmth!! Wow thankyou! Im really happy... the eyes moving without me controlling it put me nervous because I didnt expect that, but now next time I try Ill be more relaxed :)
Thankyouuu
Post edit:
Can I use that at nighttime instead of nap time? I wont be able to allways nap, and I would like to be able to have WILDS even when I cant go napping...
-
you can use it but you'd have to do it in a REM period about 4.5 to 6 hours of sleep later. if try without any prior sleep at night it is nearly impossible to pull off. I know that from attempting it a few times.
-
And, if I may ask, where could I read the reasons why during nap time, having woken up like 8 - 10 hours ago, one can directly go REM? (Or just tell me if you know them, I would like to understand it if its even understood hehe)

Thx Nufeather, that enlighted me some more :)
I have been trying the same thing, and cant get to have the same feelings again, either I fall asleep or I dont get to feel that, and I got a question:
When being there, "waiting" for SL to kick in, you have to be focused on staying awake with your mind? some short of tricking your body into falling asleep but meanwhile getingyour brain as active and awake as possible?
And the other question is if you guys know some books good for start with the reading, I would like more direct to the point books rather than teaching "unnecesary" things, more like "lucidology 102" does but being good (I read in a post over here that lucidology is crap). Also went to Dream-related Book List - Dreamviews Lucid Dreaming Community & Resource and what I would like to know is the best book you have read, if you have ever read a book about it.... In fact I keep trying to find videos, software, etc, and cant find anything good...
Thanks!
