In order for a dream to be considered a lucid dream, you must realize that you are dreaming from within the dream state. It is possible to have control and not be lucid. It is also possible to be lucid, but not have control. Though, like Reclypso said, this is a good start. It shows that dreaming in general and the desire to become lucid is on your mind. Just keep practicing and learning material. Soon you will be able to bring this idea to the forefront of your mind and take hold of lucidity.
As for the "sticky sleep," I think Reclypso has nailed it. Often times when you sleep for long periods of time, you feel very tired and don't even want to get out of bed. I think he is right about the muscles inactivity as well. If you just force yourself out of bed and get those muscles working again, you should be good to go.
