Hey everyone, total n00b here, but I was just wondering: has anybody has explored Hogwarts in their lucid dreams? Post your experiences and describe what you saw! I'm very curious.

This is definitely possible. Though, before it would take some long research to get a general layout. I've love to give it a shot. I rewatched all 7 movies a couple days ago to prefer for the last one.

Erase all doubt! When you doubt yourself, lucid dreaming gets harder!

OH MY GOD! Exploring Hogwarts is my main lucid goal, in a recent lucid dream I got to the castle but the dream ended. What I did to get all the detail in my head was watch all the movies... A LOT, I played the games (5th and 6th) as they allow you to explore the castle, I also went to harry potter world in Orlando.
The LD I had when I got to the castle was awesome, I was shocked at the detail of the stone, the moss, the texture of the stone walls. I haven't had a LD since though. Good luck! :)
I had a non-lucid dream about Hogwarts a few years ago, back when the game for the first movie came out. I was trying to get through the Herbology challenge with all the giant venus-fly-trap-type plants. It was fun... until they started spitting fireball things that hurt like hell at me.
That's so awesome dude. We think very alike. I think my mind will create Hogwarts for me, seeing that I have so much of the Harry Potter world embedded in my head. Hermione is going to be there ;)Quote:

I think I was casting the first spell you learn in the game. Can't remember what it was called, other than whenever I was playing the game and used that spell, my mom thought Harry was saying "Nintendo" XD Other than that, I can't really remember much.Quote:

It was located underground through a secret tunnel of sort under the base of my school. I went there for physical obstacles training (and lol its not a problem at all since I'm doing it in my dream).
Given the way ominous-looking buildings work in my dreams, the castle would probably end up turning into a haunted house or something. :P
I'm actually getting the game to get a better idea of the architecture :D

Lucid Dream 94: Hogwarts, Yoshi Style! Part 2

I was at a huge field party. There were tons of people there and we were all getting high as gas. There were so many blunts being passed around I couldn't count. At some point I wondered off into the woods to take a piss. I walked a little ways into the woods and saw the Hogwarts Castle on the other side. It immediately triggered my previous lucid and I did a quick nose pinch RC. I was dreaming! I flew across the lake, skimming my hands on top of the water as I crossed. I flew up to the front door and entered. There was a large bulletin with our class schedules posted on it. I saw Emma Watson and my friend Shroomy looking at the board. They were both dressed in their school robes and sporting gryffindor scarfs. I walked up to them and said, "So what do we got this year?" They both said, "Yoshi!" Emma then said, "Where have you been? Class is about to start! We will be late!" I apologized and glanced at the bulletin board. My first class was called, "Medical Magic: The Study and Effects of Magic in Relation to Cancer and other Various Diseases" I thought, "Damn that is a mouthful!" I looked at a few of my other classes and they were, "Double Potions, Troll Stories (Readings), Enchantments 131, and a few others I can't remember." I asked, "What the hell is Troll Stories?" Emma replied, "Remember? It is our volunteer work course. Reading to the young children at St. Mungos" I said, "Oh, right."
We then took off down the hall toward the staircases. I told Shroomy to go on ahead and tell Professor Hall that me and Emma will be a bit late, prefect duties! Once he left and leaned in to Emma and began kissing her neck. She whispered, "But....but...won't we...get into...trou..." She then quit talking and began breathing heavy. I propped one of her legs up on the staircase hand rail and [did stuff]. I noticed many of the pictures/paintings were watching us. Some gave small grunts and left their frames. Others quietly let out snarky comments like, "Geez, get a room." Some watched calmly and some didn't take notice at all. As I was glancing around at all the paintings and thrusting at the same time, I felt the dream getting fuzzy, but I kept [going] anyway. Soon the dream scene faded and I tried to hold on, but no success.

Dude. That's an awesome dream. I think we have the same mind... haha. I had an Emma Watson dream the other night, it blew my mind... might be posting it soon since I managed to record it on my voice recorder right after I woke up.
I think I might start a thread dedicated to dreams with Emma Watson in them. Creepy? Yes. Awesome? YES!
I'll have to explore Hermione's "chamber of secrets" one of these days. Nice dream Yoshi, that last part sounds very familiar :P . I end most of my LDs by literally screwing myself out of them.

Yeah, I posted part 1 also, but it was waaaay too hardcore to be anywhere but the DJ section. I tried to edit it like I did part 2, but there was just too much :P. I definitely need to return to Hogwarts again.
Oh, and Emma Watson is just....wow! She is right behind Kate Beckinsale in my book :D!

My very first lucid started out in Beauxbatons (yeah, it's never been described, but my subconscious made it so awesome, I was shocked) - I was walking down the stairs with Fleur and Dumbledore and realized that I was dreaming. I built Hogwarts right after that, it was amazing, but it didn't last very long - Fred came up to me and started talking, I lost lucidity and Hogwarts transformed in a regular school. I did write it down, but it's in Russian, buried somewhere in my physical DJ. I'm going to return there someday to explore the castle and will make sure to post a proper entry here :)

No reason. They are different, but I love them the same, you just asked about Fred, not George :D
I guess Fred came to me in a dream because he is always first one to speak in the books, the ringleader really. But George was there as well.

This is with me too! I have a bad history with castles so I have a feeling it would turn out haunted. Of course when im with a crowd creepy things tend to be less creepy. Maybe ill just summon a HUGE crowd and march towards Hogwarts..LOL could you imagine that?Quote:

Yeah the games aren't the best, but some of the newer ones are good because you can explore every inch of the castle as much as you want. This will definitely help me map out Hogwarts when I eventually go there in a lucid dream. It's been one of my goals for a looong time :DQuote:
