Dream journal(s)
When I started keeping a dream journal, I bought a notebook and have been writing them down in it. But since joining Dream Views and seeing the Dream Journal tab, it's suddenly dawned on me that I could keep my dream journal on my laptop, making my entries easier to share via copy & paste. So now I'm curious as to how everyone else keeps their dream journal. Should I keep writing them down? Type them into a dream journal on my laptop? Maybe both?
Also, is the Dream Journal section on this website just for lucid dreams? Or is it for all dreams?

I tend to keep a sheet of looseleaf and a pen at my bedside, and whenever I wake up in the middle of the night, I write down notes about the dream I had. I do this in the dark without turning any lights on, and sometimes not even sitting up in bed. Usually if I write enough scribbly notes about a dream, I'll remember the full thing in the morning. It's in the morning when I go over my dream and type the full entry up here.
The Dreamviews DJ system is like your own personal blog; each post gives you the opportunity to categorize it, be it a lucid, non-lucid, nightmare, etcetera. In other words, you can use it for any kind of dreams; some people also use it for sleep paralysis, OBE and astral projection experiences. :)

Puffin do you still write down when you are wanting to DEILD chain?
-
Nope, I write down after I finish however many DEILDs I want to do. The more you chain, the less vivid the previous dreams can become, though.

Thanks, Puffin. That's a good idea, just jotting down notes or maybe even a few key words. And I see the reasoning....it makes going back to dreaming easier and quicker. I'll give it a try!
