What was it....

Let me first say Hello to all of ya!

I began reading about LD a few days ago and I've been trying to LD for a while now. I usually remember 2 dreams per night.

Today at 15:00 I was a little tired so I just got in bed and started relaxing.First I was thinking "I'm dreaming" and then I just felt how my body is going to be relaxed.I was saying to my self "I'm so relaxed".I felt like I'm loosing touch with Real Life and then I felt just like I was starting to spin around,I got very very excited :) I noticed how my eyes are going in all directions.... and then some of my family members started to make noise and I opened my eyes and woke up from the dream (?) but the spinning was so real.

Was I on the way to lucid dreaming ? What was that spinning?

Welcome on board!

What you were experiencing was the beginnings of sleep paralysis. Yes, you were on your way to having a lucid dream. Have you read about the WILD and MILD techniques yet? I don't know if you realize it, but what you were doing was sort of a combination of these two.

Yeah I've been reading about the WILD and planning to use it tonight.

I was kinda scared as I had no idea what to do when I started spinning around.... :?

Did you feel like you were constantly spinning, or just big movements every once in a while? Because I haven't fully WILDed either, and when I was getting there, I just felt weird movements, kind of like my bed was on a swing, rocking back and forth.

Yeah something like that,like the bed was on a swing !

But this can't be WILD as just decided to take a nap.I've spent like half an hour in bed.
