Getting Closer
Ive just recently DIVED INTO lucid dreaming, i knew about it for quite some time but never actually did some research and tried.
2 nights ago i had my alarm set 2hours early so that i could wake up and lay in bed and try to get back into my dream and take control. i cant say i had control BUT i definatly do remember more of my dream than i usualy did. i was in bed with a girl and i was feeling her up and she was complaining about her boobs being sore, lol idk thats just what i remember.
anyways LAST NIGHT, (i just woke up) my alarm goes off at 8:20AM cause i work at 9. but after my alarm went off i tried to lay there and go back into my dream. i didnt remember anything about my dream but i just laid there, relaxed and trained my focus.
I was on the couch from the show how i meet your mother, and either lilly or robin sit down beside me and i put my arm around her on the back of the couch all casual like, at that moment i realized i was dreaming (or inbetween waking life and a dream) and the exact moment i realized that my whole body jerked and i woke up....i was frusturated but each time i get closer motivated me more and more.
my only method ive tried is the one where i wake up in the middle of the night and try to go back to sleep.
TL:DR
I think im getting closer to achieving LD, any tips?

Yeah you definitely are :) Just go at it the way you do it, try to relax more once you get lucid. The excitement will be less in time. You're raising your awareness and that's what's getting you lucid, same as with the recall, you're actively trying to improve it and that's why you recall more. Try the DEILD technique a few more times and you'll most likely make it soon. Good luck!

You are very close. I have a good feeling about this weekend. It is a startling feeling becoming lucid, but the more you get used to it, the better chance you have of staying in the dream.
