Hello world - am i doing the LD right?
hi everyone. i'd like to tell a story on how i began the LD thing, and hopefully, that one of you experienced dreamers will tell me if i am on the right course.
sooo.... about a week ago i had a nightmare, and after google did hos job, i found out what it was; sleep paralysis. i was dreaming that i was lying in my bed, and that there is a witch trying to possess my body. i couldn't move or anything... an awful feeling (i think you know :)), and i wanted to learn how to deal with it if i had such nightmare again.
thats how i started learning about the lucid dreaming. day by day, i was more into that, and i definetly tried to give it a shot.
an important thing: i didn't do a dream journal, but i remembered all my dreams for the past week and i was telling them to random friends.
and so, this morning, i woke up after about 6 hours of sleep, and the first thing that came to my mind was: maybe i should try to LD now. however, i didn't want it to. i was like, i think i should prepare for it a bit more, this is was too early. but i couldn't stop thinking about it.
as i was falling to sleep, my arms and legs started to feel really weird, and it was so hard to move them. then, before my eyes, scenes about football started to appear (?). they became more and more vivid, and at one moment, i just asked myself: dadomon, why dont you step in there?
and so i did, i suddenly found myself on the football field, surrounded by other players. and then i thought, what a lame football field this is; i'm going to wembley. and out of nowhere, the stands came up, and i was at wembley, wearing my national team shirt. at that moment, i got too excited and got out of my dream - into a stage of sleep paralysis. i didnt panic then, i remembered that i read a trick on how to end the sleep paralysis; by stopping to breathe, and so i did.
anyway, i would like you to comment: could this be the start of my lucid dreams? am i on the right way?
or this has nothing to do with the LD.
thanks in advance, cheers :)
