Hi guys! Im new:)
This is my introduction I suppose. I'd like to become part of the community and after lurking here the past few days I decided to join. Whats weird is I already had an account I had totally forgotten about, so I just decided to update my password and introduce myself as I never posted anything before. I'll let you know I'm kinda new to forums, Ive stalked many but I think this is the first Ive joined with the intent of doing more than just looking at somebodies profile lol. Any advice that anybody has would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Welcome to the forums NOTACLUE.(haha funny name) If you have not started a dream journal I would definitely recommend doing so, as it helps for your dream recall which is very important when it comes to lucid dreaming. You should also check out the DV tutorials in the wiki section of the site for some specifics on different techniques of attaining lucidity. You also will not to have a determined mind state about becoming lucid or it will make it that much harder. That it just a little advice about getting started, if you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

Alrighty Thanks man! I have started a dream journal and have spent hours reading tutorials and techniques lol. But I was wondering If I should put my dreams up on the site?
Also yeah like I said I don't even remember creating this account so the username was a surprise to me as well:)

OK, that is good. As for putting your dreams up on the site that is totally up to you man. I put one up on the site if you wanna check out my dream journal, but I got lazy after that. But yea I guess that could help with motivation because people can give you feedback and tips that might be more helpful than posting a simple thread or something because they would have more knowledge based on what happened in your dream. So if you want to post in a dream journal on this site that wouldn't be too bad of an idea.

Ok thanks again. I'll probably post a dream to my dream journal on the site tomorrow as I have a few written down. For now I'm going to bed gonna try for a CANWILD.

Hi, welcome to DreamViews!
Keeping a Dream Journal can help you in many ways. Recall is the first important step, whether you have a lucid dream or not. Paying attention right after waking up and writing down keywords if you don't have time to type out a full dream can make such a difference.
Consistent sleep is also helpful, same hours, same wake-up time. You will know your routine which can help with the techniques.
Like ryman said, if you have questions, ask. You can post a thread of your own, ask in this thread, or send a Private Message to one of the moderators/Dream Guides, which you can find by using the Quick Links drop down menu at the top of any page on the forum.
Again, welcome! :D
