does anyone have any explaination for this bizzar activity that takes place in my sleeping brain?
ive recently made a decision to redirect my life as a result of continuous encounters with law enforcememnt and i have decided just yetserdy that i have actualy become quite content without the aid of chemicaly induced euphoria.
last night however i had an extremely vivid nightmare. their are parts of the dream that i cannot recall but it begins with my boyfriend waking me up in bed. it was pitch black which has allways frightend me. (the idea of not being able to see whats around me is terrifieing to me and always has been.) i asked him if he would mind if i turned the tv on seeing as how he just woke me up for no reason. he told me that he would mind very much.
the next thing i remember is my boyfriend and i walking into the basement of my house which is wher i live. i try to turn on the bathroom light as he walks into my room. non of the lights will work. i see that the lights at the top of the stairs are working so i attempt to ascend but i am either too weak to move or something wont let me. at the top of the stairs my mother is messing with the power supply (my mother has been dead for 8 yrs) i asked her to stop messing with the lights and she looked at me in quite a morose fasion and fliped the breaker back on. i was then allowed to climb the stairs and reach the landing on wich my mother stood. i hugged her and cried and told her, "i dont want to live down ther anymore" she said "ok" in a voice and tone that was not her own. she did not physically feel the same as i remember her. i then said to her "do you promise me this is realy you?" she replied "no". when i pulled away from her i saw that it was something els. it was something trying to assume the apearance of her. she was smaller and skinnier and almost looked sick. it did not seem as if something had inhabited her body but as if something was trying to trick me into beleiving it was my mother. i imediatly begane to choke her and demanding whatever it was to leave. it did not look defeated or in panic but it did look threatend by what i was doing.
i do not recall wether or not the thing ever left but when i woke up my eyes wher extremely dialated which lead me to beleive half heartedly that the thing had inhabited me. before awakening and realizing that it was in fact a dream i found myself back in my bed wiht my boyfriend beside me. i was attempting to sit up and wake him only to experience the same difficulty as i did when trying to climb the stairs. my struggle woke him before i was able to sit up in the dream and wake up myself. in the midst of waking up i asked my boyfriend "are you scott?" (scott isthe name of my previous boyfriend) so when my boyfriend replied "no" in a stern and quite crass tone, i was terrified&askedhim "why?"he replied, " its david" after which i realized that it had only been a dream and that i was awake. (this realization was of far more importants to me at the time than the fact that i had just addressed my boyfrien by someone elses name.)
i am by no means a religious or supersticious person but i truely felt the what i understood to be the presence of something evil around me durring and after my dream. whats going on? please help me if you can with any explaination or common accurances which coincide with the experience ive had.
