Hello everyone!!! First Lucid Dream!
Hello dreamers, I am new to this forum. I had my first lucid dreams last night. Before I went to bed I ate several small servings of Tryptophan containing foods: Cashews, Milk, Parmesan Cheese, and Cottage Cheese. Then I slept for 4-5 hours then used the restroom, watched trippy fractal videos, and read a couple pages from a book on dream art. When I wen't back to sleep I had the intentions of lucid dreaming.
Once I was dreaming I performed a reality check by looking at my hands to count how many fingers I had, and when I looked I saw a sixth finger! It looked like a sixth abnormally bent pinky lol. This was my first reality check I have done in a dream and then I was lucid. For some reason in the dream I told my Dad to look at his hands, but he didn't notice anything special (of course, because he is dream extra). The first thing I thought to do was to go to an extraordinary location (it was either falling through the universe or mountains, but I forgot). I walked to a door, closed my eyes, opened the door and walked through, and when I reopened my eyes I was just outside :(
I had another LD that night where I was sitting on my bed and performed the reality check of counting my fingers, and saw the same fucked up pinky. I got up from the bed and began spinning with my eyes closed, and it was awesome! I can't remember what happened after that.
I also had 2 regular dreams that night, and I have never been able to recall 4 dreams. I think it had to do with the Tryptophan foods. I was wondering if you guys had any tips on relocating yourselves while you LDing.
