Hi everyone :)
Hey guys how's it going hope you guys had an awesome turkey day and are getting ready for xmas. A little introduction. I won't really bore ya to much I really just wanted to say hello out there. I'm into astral projection, lucid dream and hope to be a helpful member one day but I am learning my self still. I have been studying my own dreams for a while now but never took the time to do a journal. I've had a good amount of astral experiences but still no luck to do it every night, mostly when I am dog tired from being over worked. Even when I get a chance, it feels like it's more of a dream than anything I can control. I'll keep ya'll posted on how it goes.
My ap's are weird I'll receive a flash of an image but otherwise it seems I'm blind, even when I ask for clarity, I honestly have gotten used to being in the dark and just feeling things and emotions instead I have just given up trying to use my astral eye sight. It was scary like that at first. I'm probably just trying hard to see how I normally see it. I hope it get's better lol.

Hi there and welcome to DV! :) Do you AP immediately after going to bed at night? If you are lucid dreaming at the time, it may be that it is happening in Nonrem and perhaps this affects the quality of the dream/experience. You can also experiment and try to make the room brighter, use anything you can think of - a flashlight, a phone, the light switch, etc.
Dream journalling is really useful for all sorts of dreaming practices, so it is highly recommended. It helps us keep track of the progress we made and it is easier to recall dreams we had after a while. We get lots of dream everyday, whether we recall it or not. If a person recalls 3 dreams a day, that's 1095 dreams a year, imagine the amount of stuff that happens and we usually dismiss it and forget it. And once you start recording your dreams over a long time, you can learn so much from them, even start to see some stories developing. :P

Hey thanks for the welcome. I wish it could happen right away :) but it takes me a while to wind down and relax. I notice the vibes and try sometimes I'm successful the other times it ends up going off to dream land lol. It's been such a long time since my last good one, I was getting pretty stressed out in where I was and now that I'm out of that stressful situation I've been less stressed and noticing more experiences trying to happen :). They sadly go into dreams, but at least the attempt is nice to experiences again.
