Hello. I'm new here. I have dreams quite often and strangely enough they usually involve mice. I am fascinated by genetics and i breed mice for genetic study. This April i will even be travelling to Ohio in order to get show quality mice. I joined here because I always have dreams where I'll be walking around the house doing normal things then I'll randomly find a pile of baby mice or a heavily pregnant mouse or a random young adult. In my dream i know they're mine even though I don't recognize them so i go put them away in a cage. As the dream progresses this keeps on happening until my entire bedroom is full of mice to the point where i can't move without stepping on them. Now this dream is easy to figure out. That I have too many mice and they multiply too quickly and that the struggle to keep finding homes for them is causing me some stress and also that my love for mice is starting to take over my life. Today on a mouse breeding facebook group someone posted about having almost the exact same dream. There were almost 30 other mouse breeders who reported having this EXACT dream before and this really got me thinking. I joined basically to learn more about the meanings begind dreams and to have a few of mine interpreted.

I would love to have lucid dreams! The only problem is that every time i realize I'm dreaming i wakeup almost instantly. I keep my eyes closed and try to go back to the dream but it's too late I'm already up :/

Well, in that case you need to look into dream control and stabilization. Other than that, the more LDs you have, the better you will get at staying calm, so you don't get too excited and wake yourself up when you realize you are dreaming. Try to make a plan for what you will do next time, what you will say to yourself and how you will stabilize the dream. If you immediately know what you want to do, it will be much easier for you to stay in the dream.

Dream Control

Mice could be your dream sign, since you always see them in your dream. Everytime you see, or you are near mice, do a reality check. Theres all kinds of them :) Any once you get lucid, try not to get toooo excited. Just be happy, and also do awareness if you want to, which will increase your chance of becoming lucid, and after you think you. RC.
