New member incoming (with questions).

Hi guys, so i have recently looked into the whole lucid dreaming phenomenon, and since this forum looks very helpful, i feel this is a good place to start :D

Anyway, i have a few problems (naturally since i just started), and was wondering if you could help me as an introduction to the site.
1: I often realize i'm dreaming, but only right before i wake up. This is a problem because i am only lucid for a small amount of time before i A: wake up naturally or B: Jolt myself awake, this is especially easy since i am so close to waking up.

2: I have a problem remember my RC'S.

3: I have neck pain, so i can't lie on my back.

4: This might just be me, but it feels like i have a very ''busy'' head, so i imagine meditation will help tons, could you link me some good meditations techniques/excersises for beginners?

5: Since i have played computer games all my life, many of my dreams seem to ''not human'' dreams (this is pretty hard to explain), it's kinda like dreaming a large computer screen, and i can imagine it being hard to achieve lucidity when this is the case.

Other than this, i am looking into vitamin b6 (and meditation, as stated), but the DILD technique seems the best for me, so if any of you are using the DILD technique to large effectiveness, please give me some tips!

Welcome kaiern9999, you actually found a pretty good place to start with lucid dreaming. I hope I can help you with your problems, either way there's a lot of wise people wandering around :wink:.

As you said, you just started practising lucid dreaming, and most of the lucid dreams you have while you're a beginner happens right before waking up. My first lucid dream only lasted like 10 seconds before the room I was in started to vibrate and ended up crumbling. The more lucid dreams you have, the longer they will be, and so will be better your dream control. I'm going to leave you a few useful links at the end for you to take a look.

Remembering your RC's? I don't know if you meant your dreams, if not you're probably talking about remembering to do them, in that case my first answer would be the same for this.

That's not a problem, it would only be for WILD, but I don't either lie on my back because I find it quite unconfortable, so I can only stay that way for a few minutes. Again, that's not a problem.

Meditation is quite an useful tool, not only because, as you said, it will help you ''clean'' all the stuff that acumulates in your head during the day so you can be more relaxed, but because it will also help you set your intentions with lucid dreaming and awareness. Sivason did an awesome work with Dream Yoga, involving meditation techniques for lucid dreaming results, I suggest you to take a look but also be curious and find more information about meditation.

I took during a week vitamin B6 and it highly increased my awareness and made my dream more vivid. If you take it, remember not to take more than 50-100 mg / day, as it can cause nerve damage, but only with high doses.

Also, as a followup question, most of my dreams are really blurry and fuzzy, is there any to fix this? Or will it just happen over time as i grow more lucid?
