Hello there!
A/S/L: 21, m, Berlin, Germany
Well, ever since I was a kid, I'm fascinated by dreams. When I grew older, I realized that I somehow stopped noticing my dreams and didn't think much about it, but then I found out about lucid dreams. That was like 4 or 5 years ago and nowadays I usually remember atleast one dream after sleeping.
And I noticed something, as a kid I usually dreamt about driving a racing car around a track or that my backyard gets invaded by aliens(which always creeped me out), while nowadays it's more about people, like sitting in class with old classmates or at a family dinner. The thing is, most of them don't make any sense, as an example I still recall one of the "sitting in class" dreams, my classmates were basically mixed, there was people I knew from primary school and secondary. I also found that I usually dream about people I don't have a good relation to, however in my dreams it's usually the opposite.
Basically that's why I registered here, to find out more about dreaming and lucid dreaming, to encourage myself to finally start a dream journal and to find some nice people to talk to.

Welcome to the forums!
I was pretty much the same way. As a kid I remember amazing dreams in fantastic worlds, fairy-tale places, and vivid, imaginative lands. Then starting in high school, my dreams definitely shifted to be more normal and (in my opinion) boring. Usually, like you said, they were in class, and when I got a job, most of them took place at work. I still have boring dreams, but that makes the lucid dreams more memorable and more fun, especially when I go back to those vivid landscapes.
Anyway, enjoy your stay, and let us know if you have any questions! In the meantime, here's a pig enjoying a good ice cream cone on a hot summer day:

The same for me also... I always lucid dreamed naturally without knowing the meaning of those words.
One day, checking the wikipedia, I found out about lucid dreaming and joined this site, and I am a member since then :)
You will have a blast here!
Make sure to check out the Induction Methods and Techniques as it will help you a ton :)
Also, do not miss the following!

Thanks for the welcome.
I already read about a few methods and started doing some RCs from time to time, like holding my nose and try to breath, check the clock and such.
